how long does buying alpha give free updates forever?

I can't buy it right now but I can in a week. I'll still get free updates for all of the evers right? When does that deal end?

I understand that if you buy alpha now that you get updates forever. What i want to know is when that deal is over and you don't get updates free forever.

I might have interpreted something wrong but in the livestream chat right when the demo and alpha released one of the devs said that if you buy the game NOW you get free updates. If I bought this a week or a month from now would i still get the free updates?

 

Yes, if you buy it while its in any state of development you will get all the updates all the way to the full release.

 

Essentially you get every update released.. Its pretty simple really.

I don't think the OP meant how long the free updates go, but how long does the "buy now and never pay again" deal go. I would think at least though the end of the alpha, but I'm not sure. I think the buy and get free updates deal will go a long time (maybe forever), but I would think there'd be a price jump sometime.
