UPDATE: got it working dkutch, great work and loving the mechanics of the buggy.

The mistake i made (just so if anyone else ends up with a problem like this) was i'd changed to folder name to "buggy" which made it crash
Anyhow, keep up the good work bud! Cant wait for more crawlers :D

Thanks for this vehicle, that's what I call a climber it's great fun exploring with that

I don't know how it work I didn't spend time yet, but If you could indeed tune by limiting the top speed of each gear it would behave even better
Also like said by someone earlier the tires are easy to dent on sharp objects (picture attached)

I had strange skid marks decal issue on track while using it, but that's not linked to the vehicle I guess, worth a screen too.

    Best regards

The car works perfectly fine if you dont go into the car parts menu and click any of the options.

But serious issues appear when i try to change any bit of the car. When i accelerate or reverse from a stand still or make a turn of any kind, the wheels gets twisted into the car. Secondly, when you turn without pressing the accelerator, the car still goes straight but the body facing sideways(so you didnt really make a turn). It also wont turn properly even after changing it back to default settings. In fact if you go to any part of the car's parts menu and just click on any of the options and release without changing a thing, it still gets messed up like the pictures. Only way to fix is to quit to main menu and restart ur level and not touch a thing.

I would like to see this problem fixed, since i would like just to use the front wheels to steer (since 4 wheel steering makes it impossible to maintain control after 15 mph) and able to use the low range gear box.

Thanks. I've been too busy with real life and other projects to work on this one. I will eventually, but it's good to know others enjoy it in the beta stage.

Nice car, was really looking for something like this! Only must agree the tires are a little weak, but so far good fun!

This is probably a silly question - but when I try to download this car, windows says "it isn't safe" or some junk like that and won't let me download it. Can someone tell me how to get around this issue?

I hope dkutch doesn't get mad about me posting this but I noticed a few posts about the steering disappearing. It's a pretty simple fix, all you have to do is open the Dk_04_MB_suspension_F.jbeam and scroll down to "Dk_04_MB_steering_F": { and where it says "name" just after "authors", change "2004 Cambell Moon Buggy Steering" to "2004 Cambell Moon Buggy Steering F". Should fix it. It breaks because the part system doesn't seem to be able to handle parts with the same name even though they are in different slots.

Sorry if you don't want this posted dkutch, just tell me to take it down and I will as soon as I see it.

Also, this is my favorite vehicle in the game so far, looks great.

    Re: BETA/WIP: 2004 Campbell Moonbuggy

    Worked like a charm! :)

Overall its a good one, but! (theres always a but):
    1. Brakes are kinda weak and awkward, if theres any way to make em stronger at higher speeds, thatll be awesome.
    2. Tires are pretty weak. Even at very low speeds if i just gently scrape a rock or a bump they collapse into a wierd shape.
    3. Suspension is kinda weak too, it breaks too easily and when it does the coilovers dont just brake they stretch like really long wires and stay connected to the buggy itself.

That's pretty much it. I am enjoying it very much as it is, but it would be appreciated if you just fix those small issues.

    Thanks!
