If it is sunny outside, it is too hot.
If it is raining outside, it is too wet.
If it is average outside, it is not sunny enough to be worthwhile.

The weather as described by British people...

Well, looks like I will be getting a G27 soon. I had £150 on the computer fund (went unused, because computer was bought with inheritance), and my birthday is coming up, so another £50-150. Also, I am doing a massive clear out of crap which has accumulated over the years. If anybody here collects Playmobile toys, I have some quite old & rare sets which I plan to sell over the summer.

    If yo
if you can stretch for a thrust master t500 or 300 I would tell you it's worth it. I own a g25 and a t500rs. The t500 brings the game alive like the g25 never could.

I can second this. I had a G25 and have moved onto a T500RS after it died. The Thrustmaster is a much nicer wheel, though it must be said that its mounting mechanism is not quite as nice as the Logitech's. One of the major reasons why I prefer the T500RS is that it is belt driven internally rather than cogs, this makes it a much smoother wheel without the cogging that you get on the Logitech wheels, however its still not 100% smooth since you can feel the motor (which is practically unavoidable when making a ffb wheel). This extra smoothness is really nice since it makes it feel a lot more like the real thing. The T500RS can also go much stronger as well in terms of ffb but unless you really want a workout (and have a very sturdy place to mount it) both are powerful enough. One thing to note is that the thrustmaster is also much larger, not only in base unit but also the wheel diameter itself, making the strength of the motor more impressive considering the extra leverage that gives on the wheel. The T500RS is a 1080deg wheel while the Logitech's are 900, not that you will likely notice in 99% of situations.
The pedals on the T500RS are also a huge improvement since they can be mounted in either f1 or rally style positions, which in my experience it is much more comfortable to have the pedals mounted like most normal vehicles than f1 style (where the pedals hinge from the floor). The included realistic brake mod is very nice too, although it does reduce the overall movement of the brake pedal, but with the advantage of being able to feel how hard you are pressing the brakes since it makes the brake pedal stiffer the harder you press it.

But in the end it does come down to price. The Thrustmaster is quite a lot more (although I personally think its worth it), to the point where it is almost in a different product category to the Logitech wheels. So both are perfectly valid choices depending on what you need.

Thanks! I have to go for now, but I've been wondering about you guys. I've had personal things going on for the past year or so.

And I'm back. Also screw the wifi in my room. A solid one to two out of five. Hell, I can get the neighbors wifi at a four.
