licence plates

Hi, does anyone know how to permanently change the licence plates? My one keeps being replaced with my steam name, if anyone knows a solution please let me know!!

 

You go to the parts menu, (CTRL+W) where you can also change the style of the lisence plate and change the wording on the lisence plate.

 

i have tried that but when i swap maps it just changes back

 

My steam name is too long and that makes no use for half of my name being on a license plate on default. Would like option to permanently change it

Then do the same thing. It does that normally.

 

oh does it i didn't realise. they should make the plates permanent

 

I think you can save the config for an exclusive lisence plate but that would be too many files.
