No dash lights

Hey there!
I have a couple of questions.

1) Why there are no dash - center console lights?
2) If it's not possible, why it's not possible?
3) Is it going to be implemented?
4) Can I make a mod that would make this reality?
5) If yes, can you please help me? I tried something with glow maps, but I don't understand it.

I love absolute realism and this one thing is really bothering me. I don't want to stress devs about it, if there are better priorities, just wondering why it's not done and if I can do it myself, how to do so. I am willing to sacrifice all my time to have the whole dash lighten up I could maybe make textures, I but don't understand the rest

In itself it would be trivial, but it would require a spare set of glow materials, and i guess its not done because those are quite low definition. I guess that its not worth the extra space it would consume.
