I never activated my account so I couldn't access the bug report section. My fault. I tried to wipe my other post as best as I could.

I just wanted to bring this to everyone's attention. I've been trying the Civetta Bolide, and it's reasonable enough to control, however, the major issue I'm having is when traveling uphill or downhill, the steering components have a very high chance of breaking. When traveling uphill and slamming on the brakes, the steering component breaks. When Traveling uphill and turning sharply while braking, it breaks. I did a 180 spin and the steering didn't fail while it was on flat land. While traveling downhill and turning into a flat grade, the steering component breaks. I've posted a video below.

I understand the people of BeamNG probably have bigger fish to fry, but I figured I'd put this on here since I hadn't seen it mentioned.

If you could spin the steering wheel that fast in real life I think you would strip the gears. Try being gentle with the steering.

Other cars such as the Ibishu Covet Rally have no issue with me steering that quickly. Look at my other video. Only the Civetta Bolide has given me this issue.

Here is a video of me steering it as fast as I can left to right with no issues on a flat surface. If I were to slam on the brakes however and turn the wheel all the way to the left or the right, the steering breaks.

You are steering way too fast and driving down huge downhills.

Well then it seems the other cars have steering components that are too strong. I'm pretty certain that steering lock to lock almost instantly in a real vehicle would destroy the steering components.

Dummiesman, The only reason I'm driving down huge hills is because I cannot avoid them.

Metalmuncher, Unfortunately all the cars drive perfectly fine this way except this one. Nobody would ever steer lock to lock but try to explain that to an Xbox 360 controller, simply put, it's a lot easier to tap the joystick than it is to carefully adjust it.

The steering sensitivity with the 360 pad can be a pain haha. The Ibishu Covet turbo breaks the front suspension really fast when you do reverse doughnuts at full lock.:D
When I drive the Bolide, I tend to break the rear shocks.
I'm beginning to think that in this game, it's not about what could the car do in this virtual environment, it's more about what if the car was actually real, be more careful.

1:1 input wasn't designed for 360 controllers or keyboards in mind. The dynamic steering is there to help you steer without doing what would be impossible in real life. Afaik anyway.

I understand now. It took me a few times. 1:1 input. Fair enough. It's more difficult to handle without the ability to adjust dynamic steering settings, but it does prevent the problem.

I still just think it's interesting that the Civetta is the only one to do it. If it was intentionally designed to do this, I hope they adjust the other cars to do this as well, as it does make sense that no front end could ever withstand me putting a 100HP Motor on the steering wheel and expect it to work correctly. Being that the Civetta was the only car to do this, it just seemed proper to me that since it was the supercar, it should be the one with the strongest steering components.

i really hope there is a way to change how fast you want your inputs to be. without 1:1 input the steering is painfully slow and with 1:1 i break stuff easily.

I thought I would add my two cents here. If I remove the body from the bolide, I have zero issues with the front end components, I can slam it around the rally track as hard as I want to.
HOWEVER, with the body I have this issue. my conclusion then is that under braking/ hard turning, the civettas front wheel(s) rub the body in such a way that puts stress onto the streering components, resulting in the "wobbly wheel" bug seen above.
    Hope this helps!

This problem happens for me too. And it doesn't just happen in high speeds. When I drove out of the parking lot with the fuel station in Dry Rock Island it happen to me when I only drove 20 mph. I use a xbox controller.

The same thing often happens to me, too. Whenever i brake while turning, land on the front wheels after a jump, or sometimes while simply turning the linkages or something break on one or both sides.

I am consistently breaking the front passenger side wheel/steering.

My game is completely unmodded except for a custom input map for my PS2 controller via SmartJoy PLUS adapter.

I was testing on the little race track on the Grid map, it broke the most during steering to the left, during braking, and during elevation changes. I tried stripping the car (except the suspension) and the problem persisted.

Next I removed the whole body via Ctrl + W and couldn't replicate the steering snap during normal driving.

Thanks for taking the time to read, and attached are two screenshots taken after the steering snap.

I posted this on the Redmine bugtracker and Gabester said he couldn't replicate it and said,
and that it will be in the next update.
