I think what will happen is that the devs are gonna put a wide body kit on a car like the Hirochi Sunburst (which they just posted on the development page) and people will skin it. At least that's the most easiest thing for the devs to do.

I don't know if its possible or not but maybe you guys could connect with the devs of Car Mechanic Simulator 2 and work out some sort of deal. They could help make the garage part of the planned campaign possible while you guys could provide the current cars in .drive to them for their game. Just a suggestion.
No. They cant. They shouldn't They wont. They cant because they have different games, Car mechanic simulator's campaign mode is absolute crap (and i played both of them), they work on different engines and are different games. They shouldn't because making a deal with another game dev/publisher means catering to their demands too instead of making BeamNG as the devs want. They wont, because they already know all of this. This is why they wont work with rockstar or the devs from Street Legal Racing Redline, or the devs from spintires, or the dev from My Summer car, etc.

Good stuff! As a backer from the first hour that BeamNG was avalible from back in august 2013 I am very happy to see how this program has progressed. I am really hoping that the tyre model will be improved so that chunks aren't removed from the radius. I Would love to see deforable tyres like in rFactor 2.
Really? Haven't you seen BeamNG tires yet? Take for example D-15 "pig" turn on slow-mo and do whatever, even simply put force to car via node-grabber, and you'll see how they bends and deform, not enough set pressure to like 10psi do the same, other nice example, take one od dragsters for a spin use relative camera set it next to big rear wheel set slow-mo to 16 and accelerate.
This is so awesome to read this. i hope in garage we can tune and see preview of car part without reloading car! I hope you can optimize your physcis engine so far that we can spawn 10 cars at once without lagging. You guys, rock.
A map with working Garages, and mainly, A DYNO to test the cars, would be an AMAZINGLY big step forward in the way that this game works!! And even like RoR a fully working garage on every "Vanilla" map would be fantastic!! I just hope that atleast before 2017 that will be on BeamNG!! Keep up the great work!! Greetings Robben
I too am interested in seeing how the Devs will progress the tire model and damage in the future to achieve the most accurate simulation possible. Especially if there are any intentions to implement more dedicated race cars in game. Tire modelling, chassis physics, and aerodynamics should always be at the top of the priorities list. I hope there is still plenty of room for growth in the handling department as there is a lot to consider. Load sensitivity factor(s), stiffness, static and kinetic friction coefficients, springyness coeffs, slip angle vs load vs lateral force. Blows my mind on how you go about programming something like this.
