This is a 1979 Opel kadett Gte, its a nice Rally Car and I thought, because Beamng.drive does not has that many Rally cars, to port this one from Dirt Rally to Beam. Also this is a little bit of a test for me because I can learn with this vehicle how to jbeam, how to apply materials/textures, changing hp and a lot more. Until now I did except from the model itself everything by myself. I'm a little bit proud, that the jbeam stuff worked really well. It still got some bugs on the suspention and on the doors so I have to rework some stuff. Also the new sound is a little bit tricky. The crashmodel seems pretty decent but on higher speeds it get spiky, so I also have to fix this before release. Its based on the pessima , so it got things like wheels and lights from it. so Im working righ now on moving needles and pedals, the needles are very tricky and I have mess around with them, the pedals are working fine. also the handbrake moves. the lights are also working (except from the rally lights). does anyone have a jbeam for mudflaps because they are causing lot of skpikyness if they have no jbeam : If anyone knows why the car moves to the right a little bit after spawn please tell me , I think sth. is messed up with the suspention but I really dont know how to fix this
Is this just going to be a rally car variant period, or are you planning on making a street variant to?
