The cargo van... take off the cargo part using whatever object collision way imaginable! In other words dont just take it off using the editor or something. Interested to see what people come up with. I have some great ones but didnt screen capture them. I will here soon though.
Nice! I was looking today and didn't see that on the track? Have you updated? Thinking maybe they removed it!?
Well, the problem is that I don't think the thin wood walls and fiberglass exterior get damaged correctly. I think it's a bit too strong and doesn't deform right. I drove the box truck under a low bridge a few times. The box hadn't broken off completely but the frame of the truck was severely bent which I don't think plywood and fiberglass can do. I don't have a screenie to show you though. If you look at videos of people driving rental box trucks under low bridges you can see that it breaks much differently than in Drive.
Yeah I know exactly what you mean. It's like the walls are welded to the floor. Also worth mentioning I wish there was a super strong version of the cargo bed that could haul cars and concrete barriers. How hard would it be to make that happen? Currently the barriers fall right through the floor.
Here is my best attempt. Even though the crash mechanics in this game are extremely realistic, there are still a lot of things it can't do. Like having each piece break into smaller pieces or having holes dug into them like shown in the above video.
How is it the toughest bridge in the world!?! Any bridge should take this sort of punishment, especially rail bridges!
That is incredible!! The amount of people that must think " Eh, I think it'll fit" is crazy!! Notice, some trucks have wimpy boxes barely attached and some trucks it lifted the whole front end up. So, maybe the bending of the frame isnt too far stretched. I dunno.
The boxes on those trucks were strong enough to lift up the front of the truck but still, I don't think the frames of those trucks were bent. Or at least not nearly as bent as the box truck in Drive.
