Assisted Steering Problem

I seem to have some sort of assisted steering turned on no matter which car I use and acts sort of like the ai steering. It's really annoying as it starts trying to take me all over the place and I cant seem to figure out how to disable it, ideas anyone?

 

I think he means that he has the AI control activated and the car is driving by itself, like the "random" option for example.

 

Do you mean input smoothing? You can turn that off in "Controls", selecting the steering command, and changing the input type to direct as opposed to automatic or pad or whatever.

 

I think you need to invert your FFB, as it may be causing a positive feedback which makes the FFB forces go in the opposite direction of what they should be. This causes the FFB to make the wheel steer more instead of resisting the steering.

Make sure the "Inverted" box is ticked like in this picture.
