I use some beats solo 2's, except that the covering for the part that covers your ear is barley holding on both sides. They're ok, I mean when I'm watching those cringy "MLG -insert something here-" videos at 12 AM I cant really hear that eardrum-bursting music they put it, but they're good besides that. inb4 someone gives me a list of headphones that are "clearly better and 100% cheaper" We get it, you've looked for headphones before.
I have a pair of Sennheiser HD598SE's. Got them for only $110 on black friday. Arguably the most comfortable headphones for consumers apparently. I can confirm that they are very comfortable and include fuzzy ear cups! Otherwise, they're open back, which is nice in many cases. I've been looking at getting a pair of vmoda crossfade m100's though, since the 598's aren't portable in any way and are only suitable for use at home, etc.
I have those exact headphones!! I like them very much and i don't regret buying them. Although they broke about a month ago and one side wouldn't work, I got it to the store (because they're still in warranty) and got new ones a week later, they're still the best
Parrot Zik, they're amazing. They have Bluetooth and a removeable 3.5mm jack, touch controls on the right, and the best part imo : noise cancellation. There is also an app you can download on your phone where you can mess with equalizers and settings and also check the battery percentage. The battery is pretty good and it's still enjoyable when powered off.
A black pair of jam transit lite headphones. Bought it for about $40. They're also Bluetooth. I was going to go for a pair of $50 Phillips headphones, but I thought the gift card I had was only $30. I don't regret it though... Bass boosted, these things sound amazing.
Superluxes 668B and 681 Evo, and Xiaomi 2nd Piston (hate those, really), and I had a pair of Koss KSC75 which I loved a lot. I've also tried the Senns HD202 and 201 (didn't like them) and the Logitech UE4000 (I loved that one too). And I have my own made headphone amp, made with 4 JRC4580 in a master-slave setup with dual rail supply (no output coupling cap in other words), and it has a Zout of less than 1 Ohm. And it is able to output 1.1 Vrms with a 16 Ohm load, 2 Vrms @32 Ohm and 6 Vrms @320 Ohm without clipping. (And according to RMAA with super low THD+N, IMD-SMPTE values), though I haven't tested with an oscilloscope to make sure.. Actually I need to tested again, since my old multimeter displayed odd values, it measured 1.6 Vrms as max open circuit voltage of a Asus XonarDG, when I should have been 1.9 Vrms (long story), my new meter does display 1.9 Vrms with it, so I would expect higher power out of the thing.
Kingston Hyper X Clouds. Sound great and have an optional mic jack on the bottom of the cup so you can use it if you need (main reason I chose these).
This is my setup, Sennheiser HD 700, Little Dot Mk II with Voshkods, Little Dot Dac_1 fed via Optical through foobar with the ASIO4ALL plugin. .... yea I went a little overboard I guess lol Spoiler: Huge picture Spoiler: Huge Picture 2
