It absolutely blows me away to see how many people are posting saying this is their favorite SUV....

Are you people insane? I mean forgive me for being so blunt and impolite, I really don't want to step on toes here, but the ford explorer is literally one the WORST SUVs ever made. Anyone who willingly owns one, has a portion of judgment missing from their brain.

The drivetrain, the interior, the powerplant, the body, everything about this vehicle is inferior to it's foreign competition in every possible way...

And then there's the roll-over/firestone tires issue...

(Nothing against the model, or the model creator. It looks great.)

I feel sorry for this SUV after so many of them got destroyed in Cash For Clunkers, but come to think of it, I like the exterior!

Yep you stepped on some toes bro, dont hate the vehicle for its roll over prone problems, have you even read why that happened. And don't hate it for its performance obviously you have no idea or have any clue about a Ford Explorer. And calling us insane and saying we have a piece of our brains missing is a bit damn harsh. and i would appreciate if you stayed off my thread. Because you provided no help towards the vehicle in your comment all you did was hate on it. But thanks for the comment at the bottom.

Don't worry about your English mate, But nice Explorer man, and yes i would like to see more pictures of the frame and possibly the interior if that's not a problem. And how many miles does she have on her?

My profession, trade, skill and life long hobby is vehicle repair and maintenance. I'm not an expert, but I am far from a novice on the subject of automotive technology.

I will not spam this thread with an argument over something I know I'm correct on. So consider this my last post in this thread. Since you seem to be a ford fan-boy, I won't bother trying to tell you the sky is blue and water is wet. Apologies for bringing up facts, it obviously offended you, like most ford die-hards.

That first link doesn't say anything about the cars quality. Just about the housewives mentioned in the article :p.

If you're so 'far' from novice, then why did you even start about this in the first place?
There's no point in telling anybody that he/she is a fanboy. The only thing you are doing is implicating that those people are ignorant.

But guess what?! They're not. They just don't share your opinion.

Oh and after all, this thread should be about the carmodel made by Excisionized.
And the model looks great in my opinion!

Honestly can't wait for a floaty SUV like this, hopefully there will be a 2-door sport version, like my parents used to own.

Let me think. Well the interior needs some more work, I need to put some sort of engine in there and finish the chassis.
I have been busy with school so slow progress I will prolly start working on it agin this weekend.

Yes that seems useful but if I'm modeling that exact I need some blueprint like pictures with out the perspective. Easy way to do that would be to be as far as you can get away from the vehicle, zoom in as close as you can and get a side shot a front shot and rear shot. As that is the way I modeled this ford. I'm not very skilled enuf to model just by eye yet. So if you can get some pictures like that I will definitely look into it. :)
