sorry im new here i hope this thread isnt too broken!

bug seems to happen with every vehicle on every map. when at rest or moving, pressing space (handbrake) and the throttle at the same time will result in the vehicle unable to steer left at all. right works normally and it will return to straight, but any amount of angle to the left is impossible.

This is something that happens with most keyboards, where holding two buttons wont allow the left arrow key to work for some reason.

I would recommend a controller you can pick one up fairly cheap at wallmart or any tech store for a better one

proper gaming keyboards or something such as a gamepad/wheel dont have this issue. Its simply an issue with a cheap keyboard and not BeamNG

Indeed, the problem is most often rollover.

To verify if that's the case, load BeamNG, go to Controls menu, Hardware tab, then press different key combinations. If Windows can interpret your combination, then the keys will show up on that menu.

The only fix for this, is to buy a better keyboard that allows more combinations of keys to be used. Or switching to gamepad / steering wheel.

Most keyboards don't have the Anti-Ghost feature (that's what I believe it's callled), Mine does. Consider getting a more expensive keyboard, or for a cheaper solution, use your mouse to steer and control the throttle.

I use a full anti ghost keyboard, however they will set you back a pretty penny

I have a $20 keyboard and I don't have that problem. Don't go and buy an expensive keyboard, you may just need to try a different one.
I have an "EZ Eyes" old person keyboard from Cyber Works. (it was on sale, OK.)
    Looks like this:

it too will likely have a ghost combo, just might not necessarily be the same one. My laptop doesnt allow W+D then E to be pressed for example

Oh I am sure it does, I just haven't found it yet. Trust me when I say it is the ultimate old person Beamng.drive keyboard.

Wasn't there a way to test your keyboard had heavy ghosting? something like "holding both shift keys and typing 'the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy frog' or something like that

My previous keyboard shat itself when I tried to do that, now with a mechanical I no longer have that problem
