What about feature rain, snow and hurricanes?? Obviosly, as the rain or the snow goes on, the road condition changes! And why not, also hailstorm!!!!!!
Rain and snow is already in the game. It has to be added in the levels editor. You can control wind using weather app on the UI
Why not flying in real life? that would be cool! Sadly, just like your request, its mostly impossible unless the dev team stays in a basement locked up for 1 and a half month just focusing on this feature and nothing else.
look at this http://www.beamng.com/resources/mammoth-valley.886/ heck if you wanted weather you have not seen all the maps here you better look
I think what OP means is a dynamic weather effect that changes the way handling works. You know, like in real life?
Hail could be great, for example sometimes when the hail would hit, a node would deform a bit? (hey that rhymed) and also the windows could shatter with the added noise.
Think of all the particles to be rendered. My old card(gtx 745) couldn't handle the mud particles. Most people here don't have a good card. How will they handle the particles. Plus, for hail, the cpu would have to calculate where all the hail would go. Think of all the lag *shudders* Also, if we were to have the roads condition change, we would have to make a layer to be rendered on top of the road, like ice. Rendering ice would lag because of the reflections. Over all, I think your idea is good, but we need more a efficient game before that. (Sorry for being a pessimist)
And people see why this fourms is toxic sometimes, especially with people like you. And you edit your post with a period. We know you got butthurt.
