    Crash Description:
A drifter was driving on a straight road at 130 mph. The "drifter" was actually inexperienced and couldn't keep control over the Sunburst. He spun out of started flipping violently in the sand and the fuel tank got twisted and crushed, so it burst into flames while mid-air. He had friends watching him on the road, so they were able to get pictures

Parts of Car Critically Damaged: the overall chassis of the vehicle is severely damaged. The engine was damaged and slightly melted. Also the back left fender is smashed in.

Injuries (If Any) He died, unfortunately because he flew out the car and smashed his head against trees. He had major head trauma and his chest was severely injured as well and some 3rd degree burns.

    Map Used: Dune Island, USA.

Car(s) Used (you don't have to include authors): Either Djpopplers sunburst or Ninetynines...can't remember.

    Aftermath (lawsuit etc): N/A

Crash Description: This is part 2 of Derek Johnson's sophomore slump of 1995. I might have lied at the end there about Brad Smith. You are about to know why.

During the 5th race of the Beam.NG World Sports Car Championship GT class season at Akron Motor Speedway on April 2nd, 1995, Brad was not doing bad at all. Fresh off a career-best sixth at Laguna Seca, he was expected to be a threat to win at Akron; a track he has won at 3 times in a touring car. It didn't go well.

On the last lap Brad was running 4th and had a shot to win. Coming into turn 1 Brad was bumped by Richard Smith (Father of former Club Moonhawk driver and now crew chief Harrison Smith who you might remember from a crash on page 1 at this same track). Brad's car slid down into the infield at about 180MPH. Right-front fender first, he slammed the inside wall. He hit it with so much force his car started to tumble up the track and catch fire. His car landed on it's wheels right on the apron coming into turn 2. Safety officials threw a caution flag immediately meaning Jeff Petty would win. When they got to Brad, he was unconsious (how do you spell that?).

Parts of Car Critically Damaged: The entire front end, some of the rear.

Estimated Repair Cost and/or Totaled: Totaled

Injuries (If Any): Back to what I was saying, when they got to Brad he was unconscious (I spelled it correctly this time). He had to be extracted from his car and airlifted to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead on arrival. He died mere seconds after impact because he had severe brain trauma and a cracked skull most likely from hitting the steering wheel. Richard didn't suffer injuries but did blow a right front tire and spun in turn 3.

    Map Used: Akron Speedway

Car(s) Used (you don't have to include authors): Ibishu 200BX race

Aftermath (lawsuit etc): The entire Beam.NG racing world was devastated that one of the best touring car drivers of all time was suddenly killed in a crash. Richard decided to not race the rest of the season because he felt like he murdered someone when he really didn't. It was just hard racing. All classes of the Beam.NG World Sports Car Championship ran their next race at Lime Rock Park a multi-class race in honor of Brad. The next races were rescheduled because of this memorial event. Brad was only 36. He died just 2 months after his birthday.

I'm going to take a break from the Derek Johnson's 1995 season thing and show you MY career-ending crash.

Crash Description: This happened in 2010 at the mid-season race for the Sunburst Cup (now Hirochi Cup as the sunburst and the SBR4 do a multi-class season). This was at Hirochi Raceway's long course. I was running in the 7th spot and going through the chute. Coming out of the chute my car suddenly got loose and hit a barrier. My car then rolled across the track, OVER THE GUARDRAIL, and rear end first hit the Hirochi banner before bouncing off that and landing in the middle of the track. My car's rear end then exploded because the fuel tank ruptured.

Parts of Car Critically Damaged: Find it yourself :D

Estimated Repair Cost and/or Totaled: Totaled

Injuries (If Any): The rear end impact messed up my spine,so I was temporarily paralyzed from the waist down. I also suffered a concussion and a broken left leg.

    Map Used: Hirochi Raceway

Car(s) Used (you don't have to include authors): Hirochi SBR4 Race (DCT)

Aftermath (lawsuit etc): I developed post traumatic stress disorder from that wreck and decided to call it quits. Everyone was shocked that the inaugural champion of the Sunburst Cup (2006) and 2002 Moonhawk Cup rookie of the year was now leaving the professional racing world. I did not do any racing for the next 2 years but decided to come back to racing and participate in the 2013 Cliff Jumps (it is where you go up a hill, turn through an 80 degree turn and fly down a hill after that and fly over a turn of the entire track 200 feet below and if you go fast enough you land on a slope 300 feet ahead of where you jumped). I won that event for the first time since 2005.

Crash Description: So a buddy of mine (Tom) and I were exploring Mammoth Valley, and it started to snow extremely heavily. Up the road from us, sadly, a flatbed H-Series carrying hay bales, lost control and flipped over. Then, a GM came down the road, hit a hay bale or two, and hit a tree head on. As we continued down the road, we saw the cop car and thought nothing of it, bad idea. Tom slammed into some hay bales, the swerved into the GM that rolled into the street, and came to a stop. When he hit the bales, I noticed almost too late and swerved to avoid him, but since the H-Series still had its lights on, I thought it was another driver. So I continued my swerve to the left, and hit some rocks. I managed to escape the truck right before it tipped onto the H-Series and crushed the cabin. The drivers of each vehicle, besides Tom, wasn't found.

    Parts of Car Critically Damaged:

H-Series: Cabin crushed in, front end lightly damaged.

Crash Description: Timothy (in the black car) was right on Daniels tail. They were competing in a champion ship. When Timothy was going around 155 mph his brakes somehow failed and rammed Daniel when he was turning. Timothys car flew up and hit the wall brutally. Daniels car spun out.

Parts of Car Critically Damaged: You could probably tell...

Injuries (If Any) Timothy died on impact due to severe head trauma, and it was so hard his helmet was literally forced from his head and skull. His chest was punctured by debris and had internal bleeding in his heart and lungs. Daniel just had his head slung around when he hit the wall at a very low speed.

    Map Used: Hirochi Raceway

Car(s) Used (you don't have to include authors): Ibishu STI-G street racer

Aftermath (lawsuit etc): Safety was quickly improved on these cars and Daniel paid for Timothys funeral partially and became friends with Timothys family. No sues or court activity happened.

Crash Description: In the 1991 PULSAR Truck Series, a fatal crash happened between Ivan Gabriel, Jordan Fenton, and Billie Taylor. On the 50th lap of 200, Jordan tapped Ivan's truck, sending it into a concrete barrier at 150 MPH. Quickly after, Billie Taylor T-boned Ivan at 130 MPH, which instantly killed him.

Parts of Car Critically Damaged: Front Subframe and Cab were almost totally smashed in, cab was T-boned at 130 MPH.

Estimated Repair Cost: No real point in any repairs, but around 50,000$ in total.

Injuries: Ivan Gabriel suffered a basil skull fracture and was quickly T-boned and killed by Billie Taylor's truck, who was on the high side of the track. Nothing happened to Fenton, and Taylor had a concussion.

    Map Used: Indianapolis

    Cars Used: Supercharged V8 4WD TRC D-15

Aftermath: Like NASCAR, PULSAR set their priority on heavily improving safety after the major crash. Ivan's family did sue, but all details are private.
