This is my project I plan to use to return to Beam, currently my full-time job is locking me out of doing alot of anything but I'll be outta that [term contract not quitting] in 2 weeks. I plan to make engines that can be used with most cars as alternatives to their current engines, complete with supercharges, turbos, in stages that each have different models. The engines will have their own torque curves, transmissions, intake systems, and such. Different head covers will also be modeled. Planed Engine Types I4 I6 V6 V8 N/A I4 Work In Progress [untextured model] [These won't be extremely detailed but they'll be believable] Disclaimer: The following images do not show a completed project.
Well yeah, but it won't be without limits, I'm not gonna allow an I4 in a grand marshal, as that'd be stupid. Or a V8 in a 200bx. Oh and one more thing is these will also possibly have proprietary exhaust systems that'll be accommodated for different vehicles.
Okay, really cool concept, but I will speak for a lot of people when I say: Please. Let us put a powerfull V8 in the 200BX. It can handle it, it's a very good car. And before you say it's unrealistic: people do it all the time in real life with comparable cars. Also, let us put the V8 in the Miramar, that would be so much silly fun. P.S.: Please make a V12? Please?
Well, people sometimes put I4s in Crown Vics and Town Cars because there are some stupid people out there....
I was thinking more v6 in those cars.. and a v12? what car would even support that with it's engine bay without being small.
That would be too much work for the return., unless you mean putting a new engine in the bolide. I'm not making a flat 4 for the SBR4 --- Post updated --- I was thinking duel rotary in a pigeon. Possibly, but Idk there is a reason that isn't under "Planed Engine Types"
what if we just stop with the ls swaps on japan imports and making them 4 second cars? (idc if i get hate its annoying seeing these swaps) and i will shoot the next person to ls swap a subaru
why does it annoy you? there's absolutely no reason not to include a v8 on the 200bx, except for it being more work than necessary.
But why not, though? Would be kinda fun to watch an i4 struggle to move a GM. Or, throw forced induction on it. It could be fun.
come on, i4 in grandmarshal isnt wildly bad, its just economy, one of my internal mods was where i put the etk engines on the pickup, and you do see i4 vans
I was thinking duel rotary in a pigeon. Possibly, but Idk th Economy meaning giving all it's got just to move your wheels on your car...
WIP Pre-alpha covet alternative with 1846cc I4. [Naturally Aspirated only, no textures, drive belt needs bug fixes]
