I have been playing Beam NG for a while now and I think it would be a good idea if there was an In-Car radio. I know you can play a music video on YouTube and/or on a different website and play the game while listening to it, but if there was a In-Car radio, then it should have your opportunity to put your own music files in a certain file. After you put in the music files in and start the game, it should load your own music files. Then when you go onto a map, there should be a button to press to start up the radio and listen to your own music! I believe that this suggestion would definitely fit or suit this game for the players' own playtime on this game. It would quite add some more in-game entertainment and interest to it.
Just get a Media keyboard, volume next track and previous track, mine also had buttons to open a calculator, great for me because I cant do math
I think a good way to make this work is maybe something like this (im not a programmer, so i dont really know the boundaries when it comes to coding, but bear with me here): Iv noticed when going through my music thats its categorized in certain genres. Now, instead of having some huge radio station thing recorded, which is time consuming and no doubt costly, you could program the radio to access the players music files (the player would probably have to define where his/her music file is first then save the file directory location) and just press a button to cycle through their different music genres, which has the music randomized (and maybe even playing already when the player "tunes in" to simulate a radio station). This cuts down on going through a whole list of music. The downside is you wont be able to search for single songs, but at least youll be able to choose the KINDS of songs you want to listen to. the radio can even be entirely contained with one button. Like "hold down Z to turn on/off, press z to cycle".
