I have been playing Beam NG for a while now and I think it would be a good idea if there was an In-Car radio.

I know you can play a music video on YouTube and/or on a different website and play the game while listening to it, but if there was a In-Car radio, then it should have your opportunity to put your own music files in a certain file. After you put in the music files in and start the game, it should load your own music files. Then when you go onto a map, there should be a button to press to start up the radio and listen to your own music!

I believe that this suggestion would definitely fit or suit this game for the players' own playtime on this game. It would quite add some more in-game entertainment and interest to it.

There's always windows media player or itunes. I doubt that an in game radio will ever happen.

True. You do have a point there, but it would be cool if they did it.

It'd bee to much work in addition to what they already have to do. It's been asked before.

I think a good way to make this work is maybe something like this (im not a programmer, so i dont really know the boundaries when it comes to coding, but bear with me here):
Iv noticed when going through my music thats its categorized in certain genres.
Now, instead of having some huge radio station thing recorded, which is time consuming and no doubt costly, you could program the radio to access the players music files (the player would probably have to define where his/her music file is first then save the file directory location) and just press a button to cycle through their different music genres, which has the music randomized (and maybe even playing already when the player "tunes in" to simulate a radio station). This cuts down on going through a whole list of music. The downside is you wont be able to search for single songs, but at least youll be able to choose the KINDS of songs you want to listen to.
the radio can even be entirely contained with one button. Like "hold down Z to turn on/off, press z to cycle".

I don't see it as that important, I'd just use VLC for the time being.

If this were to happen, it would be cool if it had all of Gabester's songs.
