i have some ideas for the unused space on the Utah map

    where that broken bridge is, there could be a little path around so players can get into the unused part which you could fill with a drag strip and/or and desert off-road course

    Well the thing is, that that is basically outside of the map already. Just a low res texture making it seem like it continues further away. Devs would need to work on the Torque3D to allow bigger maps first I guess:confused:

    Bigger maps can be made, but after 4096 things get... weird... the ground mesh doesnt line up with the collision of the ground so sometimes you will be slightly floating and sometimes you will sink into the ground about a foot when there are relatively large sudden elevation changes.

    Yeah, I expressed myself badly I guess. I know the maps can be made bigger (as seen in some mods) but they aren't, you know, good enough to make big maps official. I hope the dev team will make it possible someday, I wish big map with lots of variety in BeamNG:rolleyes:
