The GTA 5 tornado mod is awesome but the physics suck! Is it possible to make a fully working tornado mod? What would you need to do to make this work? I would love to try to make it myself!
I'm not sure how you can make it, but I'm sure you'll need a good computer for this mod once it comes out.
probably need to change core files. very hard and would lag. --- Post updated --- you need programming years to do. very hard to optimize
It wouldn't be localized or much more accurate, nor would it be visually represented, but could the pre-existing wind app be made to automatically twirl around with a high but slightly variable intensity? It might give you hurricane weather at the least, but I don't have coding experience so I can't tell you if that's a simple mod or not.
thanks for the honest replies! i am not worried about lag since my pc should handle about anything! i will stick to sun gravity i guess!
For @aedan929, it's probably your average computer... But judging by your signature specs, bhorton, your computer could probably run the mod better than your laptop.
Fx 8370 16gb ballistix sport xt crucial Gtx 1070 The 8370 can ALMOST handle everything I throw at it but runs awesomely on this game!
My opinion: Though, it sounds good on paper, it WILL be a time consuming project, and will require a LOT of time (Texturing, Physics, it will be a nightmare.) Updates may improve the wind physics over time, but they're minimal as of yet. It's not impossible, but it's still not easy.
Totally, because with a Tornado mod, @NinetyNine!'s Storm Chaser Roamer would make so much sense. Imagine doing this with the Storm Chasing Roamer:

Half of this isn't necessary but, I can finally say that Your computer is garbage. Even my ASUS laptop from 2012 has a better pentium than yours. Now now, Who wants to check out my PC?
the way i like to do it is get a open field and turn on negative gravity, then turn on wind and turn it off when you fall.
