Cheap aftermarket car parts. And a Question For game makers

I was thinking it will be cool to have cheap crappy parts. I.E in parts list ( gavril D15 door $ 300 ) ( in free roam it will be free ) And cheap door D15 $ 100 .

The cheap parts wont fit rite. Wont look as good. Will deform quicker ( not as strong ) Cheap engine parts will be not as good. Cheap radiator will leak wint a small bump. cheap glass will be broken with a bump.


Now a Question For game makers Will the parts system be in free roam. Sorry for spelling

 

that's a good idea and maybe fuel swaps like petrol to diesel but you have to edit spark pugs injectors and if you don't do i right it just wont start

Yes, the part systems will be in free roam too.

I'm pretty sure the Devs already had this in mind.
It would make it easier when you're starting out in Career mode.

 

That would actully be very cool buying used car doors that most if the time would probaly be the wrong color so you would look like one of the stupid people on the road who color their panles different colors.

I was thinking about career and was thinking it would be nice to have a choice of new parts (more expensive) and wrecker parts (wrong colour panels, partially damaged components ect.).

 

Over anything, the D-15 shortbed is the only one I need with cheaply-made parts. I currently live in San Diego, and most of us live at least 15 minuets from a Desert. So everybody that has a Ranger has at least 5 different colored panels.

 

Perfect idea. Would love it. You cant have a soft-body physics-based NFS competition without a LOT of aftermarket parts, either cosmetic or not.

That's """possible""" in the same way it is possible to pick up an OHV engine from an FF car and make it a DOHC in an MR car. Just not worth it and a money pit.
