Laptop Display Problem

Hi, I was wondering if anybody could help me with a strange display problem I'm having on my Clevo W230ST laptop.

The problem is that my built in display is refusing to show an image.

It started off by flickering until I tapped the sides of the display casing.

I originally thought it may be the signal to or from the display but my dad opened the top casing everything looked to be in good order.

I am currently using my laptop through an external display but the backlight does work and changes just fine if the displays connected.

I would say to replace the display.

Before you go and replace it, reseat all of the connections. Don't just look at them. Disconnect everything for the display and then reconnect it.

 

I'll have a look later and try reseating them.
