Just wondering if you could give me some advice and answers.
I'm getting a PC soon and was wondering if the new 4820k would be decent. It supports 64GB of ram, which is pretty useful to me since I will be doing extreme video editing, coding, 3d modelling, photo editing/making. I will also be doing some gaming, GTA 5 will definitely be one, once it comes out of course!

    I'll be getting..
    4820k
    nvidia 780
8gb ram (to start of with, will upgrade)
    1tb memory
    Windows 7 Pro

Anyway, advice, suggestions and tips are all welcome.

    Thanks
    C :)

3570k (slight overclock, something's wrong somewhere to push it any farther)
MSI 670 Power Edition OC (overclocked even farther then box overclock)
    8 gigs RAM
    2 TB drive
    Windows 7 Home

all rapped up in an Antec Three-Hundred-Two

and a H80i CPU cooler I just got,

No motherboard, no chassi, no PSU.

780 is overkill, go for 770 instead. (or even 680)
4820k is overkill for gaming, go with i5 instead.

Use the surplus on an SSD.

Agreed. I really wouldn't spend money on the 700 series. Slightly better then the 600s for twice the price. Just wait on the 800 series, that's what Im doing....

The i5 is.... ok for gaming I think stick with the i7 but get something like a 4770k. Also in my opinion, I'm not a fan of Nvidia I will stick with my Radeon hd 7870.
