I know a thing or 2 about boy racers. You can not talk sense into a true boy racer especially if he doesn't know the FIRST thing about cars. I went thru the same thing a while ago with a mutual friend who drives an automatic fr-s, but has a 1000 dollar exhaust on it and some riced out tail lights. Only a race can settle that kind of dispute but make sure you film it for us.
I've found my collection (idk what to call them) they once had chocolate inside, i wonder what happened
Who the fuck would obsess over BeamNG to the point of this? I swear you guys have some pretty severe issues since yall are playing a game with ~30 hours of entertainment for 700 hours.
It's not just about crashing. Have you tried to drive quickly without crashing? Not easy and very entertaining. Now, about destroying your computer over it? That's idiotic.
That's a great way to get bored after 15 minutes. Let me know when there's a legitimate open wheeler with thicc racing slicks that can corner without lifting and maybe I'll come back.
Little out of place don't ya think? Sorry, it takes a lot for me to get upset, but the fact that you would go through the effort of making an account just to bitch about an alpha game that people work hard on (and which you would realise is realistic if you knew what you were talking about) really rubs me the wrong way. You're upset that people put 700 hours into BeamNG yet you clearly have nothing better to do.
Did I complain about popularity? No. I've been here since 2012. I had a lot of hours in the old alpha, but I'm spending time on iRacing and reddit. I never said it wasn't realistic, I said it was hard to turn. I like fast, downforce-fueled cars that require you to carry your testicles around in a wheelbarrow. No point in getting triggered over an opinion
I phrased that poorly. I meant more that you're complaining that some people like the game enough to put 700 hours into it. My apologies, I just had just left the a thread where people were complaining about realism and I mixed you up a little. Your opinion about liking race cars doesn't bother me, it's just the fact that you're essentially complaining that other people like a game you don't find interesting. My anger was partly compounded by the fact that I confused you slightly with the other thread, so sorry about that.
Sure, if you don't want to buy an entire AAA game every month. Because iRacing costs that kind of money. I'd prefer a new game every month, or perhaps dates with my girlfriend, or even save the money, and spend it on upgrades for my computer, or something else. In all honesty, I find BeamNG to be extremely accurate in physics simulation. After all, it isn't a racing game. And it never intends to be. It intends to be the most realistic driving game period. And remember, driving != racing.
And, there can be even more added to the list of what driving equals... Driving= purposely driving bad Driving= hitting a tree for no reason Driving= police chases with the AI which never works out Driving= smacking into a wall at high speeds Driving= doing a loop on gridmap and achieving nothing Driving= Gas pedal + engine + wheels - Friction < Speed Driving= not this Driving = hitting w
@aljowen @amarks240 Well this is interesting, we were on together again today and he straight up admitted that I would smoke him if we raced right now... after telling me that he'd just spent $400 on parts and would have the Supersonic Mazda turboed within 2 weeks. I really don't want a horsepower arms race here; my suspension is ruined from 23 years of wear and I don't have the money to upgrade both that and the engine right now, and I don't want to build a monster machine that can't corner. That's just not how I roll. Of course, considering that he was also 15 minutes late coming back from his break due to him and his mother having a heated phone conversation over that ticket, I'm not really sure.
