Well first impressions... Graphics are nice, it looks really good. Handling has been a step backwards from GTA IV, but it's not that bad. The map is HUGE, I mean HUGE.

Just like Saints Row, the cars handled like arcade racers. Not close to even San Andreas standards.

All of this can be fixed in the pc version. I swear I dont know why they just dont release 360/ps3/pc all together.

Personally, if they take their time with a PC release, I'll wait patiently. GTA IV is such a mess on PC due to a rushed straight from Xbox 360 port with very little in the way of optimizations done and a few added features for PC only like Independent FM and the Social Club video capturing. The mods can be pretty good but most require too much work to put into the game and require you to backup a bunch of almost 1GB pack files.

Rockstar had a few positions open for PC developers to make PC titles from scratch and port code, that means even GTA V and not just console ports, straight up gone through code and optimized for all kinds of hardware.

I'm a huge Rockstar/GTA fan but man did the PC release of GTA IV cheese me.

I'm really looking forward to GTA V though, probably get it on 360 then PC when it's available.

..., how, i would be fine with it, because it would give people video's, to see weather or not its worth it or not to actually pre-roder, or buy if they cant pre-order, as then, they would know weather its worth it or not before its even out, as honestly, the released gta v gameplay vids by rockstar themselves, dont really show much

So if you worked as a game developer and your game got leaked early and people start uploading unauthorised clips of your game including major story spoilers, you would be ok with it because some people might cancel their pre-order and think the game isn't worth it?
What planet do you come from?

one where people should only get the game, if they like it, instead of one where everyone in the world has to have the same exact freaking opinion

But it's not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of a company trying to make as much profit as they can.... These leaked videos might reduce the amount of profit made by R* and Take 2.
That's what we are trying to say here.

Anyway, from the leaks, this game is looking quite high quality and graphically impressive for 8 year old hardware, but I will be picking up the inevitable PC release. The only thing that puts me off is the driving and damage, but i'll probably get used to it. I was just expecting more appealing, interesting, and solid driving mechanics I suppose, but a game dev has to appeal to a wide audience I guess.

How old are you? 10? As already sad, rockstar is not trying to be nice with you. They only want to make profit.
That's why you only see the good sides of the game in the trailers. That's actually the whole point of a company if you didn't get it yet, to make profit, no company in this world is trying to be nice with you or trys to be honest.

Maybe not big companies like Rockstar which also has one of the most hush hush PR departments I've ever seen.

While I agree companies are in it for the money there are a lot of companies in general that try to make it up to the people who play/buy their game to please them. Volition is currently working with the community to make modding a possibility on all Saint's Row games from SR2 to SRIV and they stated they'd fix SR2 for PC since it's a really bad direct from Xbox 360 PC port.

Rockstar on the other hand is just pleasing their fans to gain more money, I don't think they really care much in the way for the community, though I'm talking strictly for their publisher, not the devs themselves since Rockstar keeps them under wraps.

I see nothing wrong with a little footage getting leaked to see how the game plays before making up your mind to buy it or not but usually people who leak footage don't show much anyways, I'm a very money conscious person and to me every dollar counts when it comes to making the right choice and I'd ultimately be upset if I spent $60 on a game that was nothing like what I saw in the trailers, I'm looking at you RAGE.

If the tow truck mission is online, look at the part, where they take the car with them. When they stop and drive slowly forward/backwards its looking badly. Also the acceleration is shitty. I wait also on pc version and some fine mods. This time i hope they can add cars and sounds, not only replacing them. When i hear the weak car sounds or the millions shifts on a straight i could...
But quads, planes, bikes looks fun in the first footage and overall this game is great made.

The damage/deformation looks miles better than what we had in GTA 4, I'm glad of that.

Driving with Franklin the cars stick to the road a lot more. Some lighter vehicles will also stabilise themselves in mid air. I'm gonna play as Trevor or Micheal for when I want cruise.

not to me, to me it looks like utter crap compared to gta 4, even compared to gta sa, i mean, from from ive seen in the leaks, you could crash head on into a bus, and it will only look like you barley grazed the front of the car with a wing mirror or something

it might be realistic-ly designed. but shit, it takes forever to actually see any good damage.
