The mod doesn't work for me. I have installed the original car mod. When I try to download this addon via Install button nothing happens at all. Downloading the Zip and copying it into Documents/BeamNG.drive/mods overwrites files of the original, but the new cars don't appear ingame.
Is funny how i find more interesting driving the Diesel Delta 88 tan the ETK 800 or other more powerful cars...
It runs terribly on my PC for some reason, you can see the specs in my bio. Otherwise, it's a really fun and excellently made boat!
That's odd that it doesn't run well. My Dell laptop (that barely runs the game) can run it without issues. If I had to guess I'd say it has something to do with model or texture quality settings in-game
No, it's the processor, when I freeze the physics I get solid 60fps but when I unfreeze I get like 20fps.
Yeah i'm sorry about that but a mod with around 900 nodes seems to be heavy for an amd processor. And the mesh is detailled and can affect performance as well. I'm currently working on the UV templates to let you make skins mods for the cars. It's a bit long because it's pretty detailled, you'll be able to paint a lot of things, depending of you'd use chrome trims or painted trims. So i have to comment the uv templates, or a least join a commented version.
When I download it the cars themselves do not work and their names do not display correctly. It loads in nothing. What's the issue here?
That's probably because they have terrible single-core performance. I can run up to 5 D15s just fine, but heavy vehicles run terrible even when it's one.
Heavy vehicles? i can run this mod Great (Just like a stock car) But the T-Series Runs really bad. I run a old i7 and a gtx960
Did you downloaded the addon in the forum AND the main file that is availble by clicking on the buttons above (install or download) ? Without the main file called "Oldsfullsize_codename.zip", the other cars don't work at all.
I get fine performance, 50-60fps with this car. I can run at least 10+ cars. I only have a i5 2500k and gtx 970.. I can run the game just fine.
Is mine broken? In the game it is called 'Codename: Oldsfullsize'. Also, there is only the prototype version of it. Take a look at my two pictures.
That there is what I meant. Plates like that show up, even though there's no defined slot for the design.
