it's really hard to drift with this car, the steering is a little "slow" but it's not too bad ... probably the best mod ever. we need (i need ? ) a drift steering wheel.
I just got started doing my first skin for this fantastic car. Can anyone guess what the finished skin will be? Here's some hints if you want them Spoiler: Hint #1 Something made of fabric Spoiler: Hint #2 50 Spoiler: Hint #3 Three colors More hints Spoiler: Hint #4 1776 Spoiler: Hint #5 7-4 Spoiler: Hint #6 Two vowels and one consonant
Apparently there are stories like that happening over here aswell of people buying then importing classic cars to find that the car is rusty underneath that kids is why you go and buy a plane ticket to see the car thoroughly before you fork out $50,000 (plus shipping) on your 69' Generic Muscle car. People do that with normal 90s cars aswell by making them look nice to trick people into buying a dog. that happened when my dad brought his 94' Pajero years ago.
Dude you make GTA V mods seem easier than this, how do you even install this I spawn the damn car and it doesn't spawn a single thing.
your missing the main part of the mod lol theres 2 parts just have to scroll down a bit for the 1st attachment its 187mb
If it doesn't spawn a single thing, it means you didn't downloaded the main installation file, the one you have two buttons for installing it just above. It's a quite easy install, when you just take time to read, i'd say, the first ten lines of the description of the mod. I really wonder why people start complain before even read a single line of a description that is written to help them install it correctly. Two files to download to your mods folder, wow, such a difficulty, i beg you pardon forever.
The main issue with that is that the cars defoms like a pepsi can, without the innerfenders. I'll try to tweak but this mod is intensive anyway so it's a global reduction that has to be made. --- Post updated --- Those are external hood rigidifiers nodes and beams, just like the official pickup has one : All panels like that have rigidifiers, they are mostly inside the cars, but sometimes a solution is to make them outside. It's not very pretty but jbeam are ment to be invisible, right ? Whatever works. It was discussed, and was kept like that because it works, but a tipo like that on a mod that was tested by several people for dozen of hours ... This is an Ar162B solution for the hood rigidity and i have to admit i was surprised too at first
Suggestion for the mod, Can you make less efficient parts for the Ratty version of the car, so the engine has to be slightly babied or itl overheat faster and whatnot, i can beat on it all day and it runs nice and cool hehehehehe, i feel that car should run hot/overheat and whatnot
Yep, things like that will be done also for the diesel, so that it will die when towing The rusty car in my mind was more a ghost car, the engine shouldn't work at all. The engine is called "Shouldn't work but it does" in the part selector. You have also the already dead version of the engine, if you want to put it on a trailer as a dead wreck.
i don't think so, it was a lot of work especially the textures. And i did the Delta 88 beater to have something different. But i'll think about it. --- Post updated --- I reply just now because i've missed it. The original oldsmobile files is 188 mb, the codename prototype is only 26,5. Why ? because it has just a few textures reduced by half, and not all the parts and bodies the Oldsmobile addon has. The textures of the Oldsmobile addon has Oldsmobile logo everywhere, so having an unbadged car with the same configs as the Oldsmobile car will have resulted to a huge duplicated mod, for quite nothing. The Prototype is there only to have the car in the repo, referenced, and to allow people giving their opinion with reviews without having them diluted in the discussion thread. So it had to be as tiny as possible, but it's not the real mod, just a key to unlock the real content, that use brands. I spend several monthes doing two Oldsmobile and wasn't interested a lot to have the whole mod being renamed to Oldsfullsize. So regarding to the time i spend on it to share it to you, i'd appreciate that the effort to download two files could be done without complaining too much. At least if has been possible to release it this way. Thanks.
Weird those corruption issues for some people. i really don't see where can be the problem, i never have that.
There are lots of stories like that here in Sweden too. Someone buys a top-class Classic on Craigslist or Ebay and have a shipping company do door to door transport only to realize that the car is basically a painted rustbucket, the seats might look nice but be from an entirely different car and the engine, while it might work good can be anything from another model of car to absurd things like a GM 350 mounted in a Ford. Regardless, i really like that you took your time and made this "special export version". It is going to be my favourite when i want to trash a 98
