Also, i've seen somewhere that someone pointed out a ford part on the car, so here is the answer : https://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/mof-fl321/overview/make/oldsmobile/model/delta-88 I have a Motorcraft fuel filtrer compatible with the engine on my car It's sold on rockauto.com for the Oldsmobile diesel
I saw the mod came with the Coupe and the Wagon somewhere in this thread (possibly the first few pages) What happened to them or you're just working on them @SergentFido? Also, i think that you should make plate designs compatible and custom plates's text can be changed
Change the license plate to the ones that say "Front License Plate" and "Rear License Plate". There's the custom text ones.
stupid question but are you also gonna make the olds 98 and for that matter the cutless and the toronado from 1980 in like the next updates or not at all?
Look I'm sorry I took that a bit far might in a future update you please combine the files I just thought they were all together.
Did a bit of messing around with just the car, made a huge derp on the video and put them in wrong.. But enjoy if you guys want to see some of it in action!
No offense, but i can't combine the files, it was done this way because copyrighted brands are forbidden in the repository. And without repository, long monthes of work without visibility. So it will remain like that unless i get autorisation from General Motors, that is something in progress as i have requested it to them, and received a first kind answer with the contact of their merchandising director. So maybe in the future the mod will be officially autorised to be in the repo as an Oldsmobile. Thanks ! See first pages of this topic to have a preview of what will be the content of the future release. --- Post updated --- The question is not stupid regarding the Toronado or cutlass, the answer is no because the mod is about the fullsize cars only, and not the other body styles. But did you requested to have the olds 98 in the mod ? It is already in the mod, the Regency sedan is the Oldsmobile 98, it's called the 98 Regency Sedan. It's a bigger car than the Delta 88. But it's true the 98 is not written a lot, it can be seen on the crash test skins, and that's it. I should write it in the presets description.
A very cool car needs a pretty cool place to take pictures. I couldn't think of a better garage/photo room than Bruce Wayne's garage, So I made it to the actual set measurements, should be perfectly to scale. Batman approves... P.S. I made it into it's own level, I can send it to you if you like, as a thank you gift for the car.
Oh yeah the Coupe will be amazing when its done, wagon will also be quality. It would be cool if you did the rest of the GM B bodies, but its not really needed since you have all the versions that are needed. And despite them having the same platform the Buick's, Pontiac's and Chevrolet's all have different body lines and do not share sheet metal. In closing I am glad the release went so smoothly and if there was a mod of the year, this would be pretty far up on the standings. Congratulations
soooo... i noticed a little glitch whilst doing a little police chase... i didn't see exactly what happened, but i DO know i had 3 vehicles. i had 2 of the oldsmobiles, a delta 88 interceptor and a regency police car (#2). the delta 88 got a slow start (AI couldn't control the horsepower), and once i got him under control, he caught up to the regency, and rear ended it, causing what you see here
Looks to me like a tire bug, that can happen sometimes, they stretch and make weird things. Someone else reported a bug like this after hitting a tree. I've never had a bug like this with the body itself and it was a lot tested. But it's still possible of course.
Well I did jump on the Ski Jump map with the rusty Renegance and when the car came close to end of the ramp it bottomed out and all tires exploded and nothing more than big mess and clusterf*ck
There is nothing i can do, tires are BeamNg jbeam --- Post updated --- Yeah, please send it to me py PM, i'll be happy to test it thanks
Well, this mod of yours is definitely awesome! As the former owner of an '83 Caprice, it does bring back driving memories. At first I thought the handling was slightly off, the rear axle a bit too loose but then I switched to the 205/70s my car had and sure enough, there it was! From the nicely dampened porpoising after bumps to the steering and the steady acceleration, the sounds......you just nailed it (of course, you have your own reference but still...takes talent)! One thing I found, though, was the brake proportioning/balance was a little too front biased: the perfect stops felt like they had an ABS system. A quick and dirty edit of the rear brakes with these values: {"brakeInputSplit":0.65}, {"brakeSplitCoef":0.42}, yielded the familiar locking of the rear during hard braking (common to a lot of GM products of that era....like they used disc brakes proportioning valves everywhere). They could be refined a little bit, though. I'm still hoping that you'll someday see the need for a Caprice/Impala ('cause that's just right!) but for now I'm very happy driving your various olds around.
