Error when trying to open TechDemo?

When I try and open the techdemo in Windows XP, I get this error. Does anyone know what's causing it or how to fix it? I've installed the newest DirectX, and updated my video card, but still nothing. Any help would be awesome!

 

BeamNG doesnt offically support windows xp, most likeley because windows xp only supports up to directx9, while i belive, torque3d(the graphics engine) requires directx10 or higher:

Please note that we cannot guarantee that the game starts and runs at all on this hardware.

• CPU: Single Core
• RAM: Less than 4GB
• GPU: integrated graphics cards: old intel laptop onboard cards, etc
• Windows: below Vista (Works on Windows XP - may not be fully supported)

 

alright. I worked to get Windows to dual boot for hours just for this game, guess I'll have to buy 7 in the long run...

For anyone else having this problem with Boot Camp, you have to install drivers either from NVIDIA, or whatever video card you have. You can do so by inserting a Snow Leopard install disk, which will automatically install all drivers.
