response: 403 - Forbidden

HI. Don't know if this has been asked about (I've looked and nothing) but I get that when I look at the Ge lua when trying to download the add on mod from sergeant fido. I managed to download other mods just fine when I press the green install button, but when I tried with the full size add on, I got "response: 403 - Forbidden." So, I tried downloading the mod manually and placed the .zip into the mods folder and got nothing. In fact, none of my mods are in the mods folder at all, they are in their appropriate folders with the original content and I can't seem to access files in the mods folder when I place them there and re-launch the game. Do you think you can help, or do you think otherwise?

 

Try reinstalling the game.

Do you mean by not being able to access the mods, that you cant actually open the zip file. Eg does it say "path invalid unable to open" because that usually means that the download failed or got corrupted and it missing files that it needs in order to be opened. Happens a lot with slow internet (trust me, i know).

I get the error in the game Ge Lua (In game, hit ~, and the screen appears and spits out the prompts etc for the game). I'd like to reinstall the game as a last resort thing because I go through a rather slow internet provider that causes the download take anywhere from two hours to all day/overnight.
