I found a way to boost your car to crazy speeds by using water and modifying some of it's parameters.

In the editor go to level tab and select the Environment folder

Then spawn a Water Block. I called mine boost for easy finding later.

It should open to this window. Make sure to move the water up so that it can reach the top of your tyres.

What you have to change is the Density parameter. Play around with the numbers to get the kind of boost you like. -250 works really well from what I've found. -400 for really insane boosts.

Here's me driving along through the water getting to speeds of 171 MPH+ in just a few seconds.

And yes. This truck can do 0-60 faster than a Dodge Viper. The first speed run is 4.79 and that was with the density at -250. The second one was done at -400

Only problem I found was the cars just can't handle such a fast acceleration that they explode into pure energy and you'll have to reset the car and pause and resume the game.

I think the cars explode because the physics engine doesn't really know what to do with negative density water since negative density water isn't possible

I'm 99% sure that it's because the cars can't handle the sudden acceleration to 450 mph. With smaller changes to the density you can comfortably drive for hours.

Here's a video showing the extremes. With some tweaking you can get stable boosts which can make crashing at high speeds easier.

Dude, that's a crazy trick you figured out! That's so cool, I'm definitely going to try it, and it makes the grid look really cool with a thin level of water on top.

Haha, I don't mean to rain on your parade, but my modded truck has you beat for the most part though, without using water; 0-60 in 1.12 seconds, and safely 0-300 in under 10 seconds.

But your 0-500mph is much faster than I can achieve with just tires hah. There's just the problem of the truck staying in one piece :p

But yeah, again I love your trick, I'm going to try it out.

@3com111 haha guess it hit 88 mph and travelled back in time at 0:08 :D

Oh man this is awesome, Trackmania boost pads here we come!

This isn't really a bug in the same way that setting gravity to negative isn't a bug, unless you're talking about the vehicle erroring out of existence at regular time speeds.

Yeah that's what I was reporting. Not the boost pad water itself. That is awesome and I think it should stay xD But I mean this is perhaps a good test to get rid of these physic crashing errors once and for all u know? That's why I originally posted it as a bug.
