Ah, yes I've been in that position as well. If you ever need some buying advice for a 205, just send me a message :)

Yep, 29,4 MPG. It's an old engine (XU5 M3/Z) + an inefficient automatic gearbox. But it drives so relaxed.. :)
The 205 with the 1.4i engine + 5-speed manual transmission gets around 38-39 MPG: I used to have one. But these easily run hot and can have head gasket issues. The radiator of the 1.6 is like 33% bigger: it uses the GTi radiator.

And wow, 25 MPG is really good for a large truck! *thumbs up*

Going to do a scenic drive with a friend of mine this afternoon. He's got a Peugeot 206CC 1.6. So I'm going to vacuum clean and wash my 205 now :)

Yep, 25 from this truck, and I know that with some tuning on it and some gentle driving 30 isn't out of the realm of possibility.

A few years back Diesel Power Magazine took an 89 or 90 Cummins powered Dodge truck and made a 1,000 Horsepower, 30 MPG getting reliable daily driver out of it.

Welp, if im lucky I get over 12 in my Monterey , although usually I sit around 9-10 mpg. In my 88 carbureted Corolla i get somewhere between 25 and 30, however I drive it like i stole it for the most part so that does not help. Oh and i did a 0-60 run in it too. It is by far the slowest car i have ever owned, however quite fun on backroads. I cant get the vid to upload, but it took about 16 seconds to get to 60.

Had some slidey fun in the monterey too.

I got you beat. Before I bought my own car I drove my older sisters 2004 corolla and timed a 0 to 60 with a passenger. 14.47 seconds. My civic will do the quarter mile faster than that. I did like the car tho.

Dang, 25mpg with that beast? How'd you manage that, my family's '98 expedition only averages around 6.8 to 9.5 depending on who's driving

Diesel, 2wd, manual trans. And It's got somewhere in the 300 HP/ 700 TQ range too, just for good measure.

Like I mentioned before, at it's last fill up this truck got 17.8, with a 360, 47RH, 3:55 gears and 265/75R16's.

Where before I used to be lucky to get 11 or 12 with the 35x12.50R17's, though I assume the leading reason that was because 3:55's really aren't steep enough to handle 35's.

A Cadillac truckar is so wrong. The Pontiac G8 SUT from way back when was wrong too, though not quite so bad.

They should have built a new El Camino based on the SS... but it would still have felt empty somehow, because it would have been pandering to the 'STRAYA fanboys instead of a practical vehicle made fast like the original.

19.2 MPG with my 2000 Cummins(hand calculated) on average, although could be better. That's with 35's and I get into the throttle all too often, but I'm happy with it.
Rolling 60 MPH on flat ground I typically see numbers close to 27/28 MPG. Funny how the right power mods on a diesel can skyrocket fuel economy.

I went to a mall today, and while I was there, I visited a part of the mall that had Kias and Chevrolets there. One of the vehicles was a blue 2016 Cruze. I actually took a minute to have a seat inside it, which I thought felt comfortable and welcoming. However, I noticed a little dome shaped object on the top of the dash. For the remainder of the time I was there, it repeatedly blinked red.

Here's a picture of a Cruze dash that has it. I highlighted the object in question.
    What is it.png
    What was that thing?

Also, are the seats in cars like these made of carbon fiber?

I have actually wondered the same, as there was one on the 1995 Honda Odyssey my mother once owned.

Also, the seats wouldn't be made from carbon fiber in a shitty General Motors Cruze.

I thought it was okay. To me the interior felt comfortable and very welcoming. However, there was a black Camaro sitting next to it that I thought was way cooler.

So, what are those seats made of? I don't think they're leather. I've rode in vehicles with leather seats, and seats like those don't have the same feeling.

Those red lights are known as "anti-theft indicators". They serve to show anyone thinking about messing with the car that it has an alarm and will raise a big stink if messed with.
The Chevy Cruze is an awful vehicle. Friend of mine's mom has one, so he whips it occasionally. It's terrible. I also have a friend with a relatively late model Malibu with the eco-tech i4. That thing is gutless as all hell.
Of all the car makers, I think chevy does about the worst job making dignified economy cars.

It isn't hard to discern leather from cloth. If it's fuzzy it's cloth, if it's...leathery, it's leather.
A cheap gm car will probably only have "leather" in the most technical sense though.

I knew the difference between leather and cloth since some of the past cars my family has owned had cloth seats, and the CV we own has cloth seats, and boy are they comfortable. I know that the seats in these modern vehicles had me thinking they were made of some other material, since I thought they felt different than the leather seats in this one 1990's Cadillac that a friend of ours used to own, which I rode in a few times.

Nothing like finding a beautiful 04 sti in black and a 2015 wrx in blue on the interstate and cruising at double the posted limit for about 30 miles late at night. We flashed blinkers and everything it was a blast.

RedBull Racing built a drift V8 Supercar. Its a absolute beast, I don't care what anyone says. This is officially the coolest race car ever.
