    @ethanemmett1

    It would only be temporary, lasting until 50 posts or so. Most trolls only would try post a dozen or times until they realize it won't work, and eventually will leave.

    @Slammington

    And while mildly true, it wouldn't last long (only a small limit), and if they are that impatient to not be able to wait, they maybe they shouldn't be here either.
    And about discouraging people from posting, again, it wouldn't be a large (100+ posts) limit to wait for. The stuff would eventually get posted, maybe with a few minutes of a delay. I dunno how they'd get discouraged from it.

    Well that does seem like a good idea the way you put it. But it would take alot of effort to have a team of mods on constant watch to check posts within minutes of their creation.

    Like what this guy said,

    I'm sure they'd have a bunch of people who'd volunteer to do this, if it meant less toxicity in the forums. (Me included)

    Indeed. I use firm language when I have to, and friendly. Firm, fair and friendly. Those are my three that make me feel like that's what is a good forumer.

    I remember that I mentioned in a thread (after the community was "open" for people that didn't buy the game) that this would happen. Unfortunetly, opening things isn't always the best option regarding "quality control".

    I've been here since late 2015 and I've seen the change in this forum. It has changed a lot. All those five star mod reviws for config mods, little noob kids spamming everywhere about when is it ready and that. And I've seen a change BeamNG.DRIVE (Unoffical) Discord server. That place became total cancer. It was just trolling and trolling. I was said that I am cancer but about this forum is that it's like war in Syria. Allways saying mean things, spamming off-topic stuff, threads are created for no reason, less mods are being updated, less youtubers play BeamNG, less mods, BeamNG's makers loose courage and interest making this game because some little kids sh*t talk to gabester, tdev, Nadeox1, people might lose interest to BeamNG due to sh*tty forums and might become RoR's and Bugbear's forums mix. Something needs to CHANGE in this forum!
    And like this ivan guy he just posts and spams stuff that doesn't even make sense. People like him don't make the forum better they make it worse.
    We really need some changes for this forum. @gabester @tdev @Nadeox1 @synsol

    Did you read my full post? ( I don't mean to be a dick or anything)
    But I also talked about how this forum has become more more and more worse. Just for example I saw your Baja Hills 2 thread where some people are continously asking "when is it read?" and "when are you goinig to realese it?". But this forum isn't anymore so good. It has changed a lot since I joined (2015). Something really needs to change in here. Like the orginal devs micro blogs thread. It was jam packed full offtopic comments and questions about when is it ready and thats why its now locked thread.

    I'm tempted to do a massive write up about a complaint of mine about the community inspired by this thread but i'll just do a tl:dr of what i was meant to write.
    I joined Jan this year but played the game in early 2014 and fell in lobe with it but i couldnt get it because i didnt have a PC. However i have still noticed a big change in the attitude of the community and the negativity that has arisen from the reasons i will mention later and will now discuss.
    Simply i believe the lack of respect, patience and willingness to listen to other members of the community is simply the new age of entitlement which has been brought on recently. This mainly includes the younger generation 17 and below such as myself but i do not see myself as impatient or stubborn. Because the majority of new community members have been brought here because of the rise of youtube and beamng publicity on various medias. Its bring this unwanted and unneeded horde of self entitled young ones who fit the description above and becuase of this they cannot wait for a release date or listen to people because they want everything now, they cant wait.
    This is really annoying for me especially when people have been complaining even on this thread that there is a lack of new quality content. BeamNG content creation is not only for super experienced modellers or jbeam experts. If you have the time and are willing to put in some effort you can learn to do it yourself. You may not be a narwhal, aboroath or dummiesman but if you are willing to learn and put in effort. You will learn the skills. So my final point is that modders DO NOT get paid and they are creating FREE content for the COMMUNITY to ENJOY. So if you dont like it simply stfu (bit aggresive but needs to be said) and if there is something you want either wait or dont complain becuase unless you go and pay them besides if you are a friend or helping them or something. It most likely will not be created anytime soon. So if you think there is a lack of quality content, please ask yourself, Who do you think is to blame?

    Post was longer than intented but whatever. Also a bit rambly but definetely understandable.

    Hmm. I see. I need to agree on the fact that the growing population is due to the youtubers, and mostly spoiled kids are overgrowing the forum, which is just terrible, unless they get some seriousness.

    Maybe we need a Sticky thread that we can link to if ppl are forgetting the "respectful behaviour" part of this community. With alittle info on what is considered ok and not. If you dont follow these rules, you're out. The 'you're out' part might be hard considered they've bought the game but.. We could get a star system or similar, like most forum have. Only difference would be that its behaviour controlled. Disrespect someone and youre points/stars/whatever/drop/turn red.

    I second this. It could just be similiar to the warnings for bad language and stuff. Instead it could be for disrepect and inability to listen. When they reach a certain amount of these disrepect points they get a temporary ban.

    Obviously the people who have already been MAKING mods, even if people have the time and ability to learn like me they simply cant motivate themselves and if they could the results still would be terrible and not worth the time and effort, honestly I feel like if you want something done right then you just have to wait for someone else to do it.

    What? Your point is the exact opposite of what just about anyone would make. If you have the time to learn to make a good mod, the mod will be a good mod. How is it the community's fault that you can't be assed to take the time you have said you have to make a decent mod? It isn't. It's you fault.

    That's completely wrong. How do you think the amazing moders in this game came to be? They didn't just sit back and say, "I'll let somebody else do it". They got up and did it themselves, and then learned from their mistakes and made the mods better.

    Some people like me just aren't good at modeling or can't really motivate themselves to do anything, and in a case like that in my opinion it is best not to even start as most people would just give up before actually even opening up blender or notepad to start working on it, and the people who would be able to motivate themselves to at least start working on a mod probably would have done so already.

    Very few people are unable to motivate themselves to do something they actually want to do. Nobody is preventing you from doing it besides yourself. In fact, if you need help making a mod, you're more than likely going to be able to get it. People here are willing to help, as long as you are willing to do the work. Nobody's going to do it for you.
