All maps disappeared after the 0.7 update

Hello

I recently updated my Beamng Drive game via steam. After the update, all maps in Freeroam mode diasppeared except the "Download More" orange button. Although I can still access all the maps through scenarios, it is super annoying that I can't use Freeroam anymore. I already verified integrality in both the menu before getting into the game and through steam. Please tell me what is wrong.

im having the same problem if you search it on free rome you can find the map but when you click on it it goes to a compleatly different map

 

This is already a known bug. Synsol says

So go to your mods folder and look for any maps with more than one .mis file. They cause that problem.

 

I disabled all mods and it did nothing for me. Heres the process ive gone through so far

Breakdown
- game worked fine
-I enabled online features when the game asked me
-maps no longer showed in freeroam menu(still show in scenarios)
-restarted game. didnt work
-disabled online features. didnt work
-disabled all mods. nope
-restarted game again. nada
-restarted computer and game again several times. Nothing. Still doesnt work.

Do i need to delete any maps with multiple mis. files? Or should just disabling them work? In which case, is there anything else i can do short of reinstalling the game?

 

Would like to add.. I disabled these 2 maps, and my free roam feature worked great again!

and no,.. do not need to actually delete the mods, just disable them!

i got a fixed the day i posted that comment i just went though the older maps and the causing it was some snow map i dont remember what its called but thanks anyway

 

Well that issue is fixed now in version 0.7.0.2 so you should be ok to use maps with several .mis files

 

ok but i have another problem i forgot to say the ibishu pessima will not spawn when i click on it it just spawns nothing and all the other cars have some very small words on the tires and i cant get them off ive gone trough all my mods and i dont know whats causing the problem

 

Very small words? Can you give us a picture?
Well if an official car doesn't spawn then you should just go into safe mode to be sure that it ain't a mod and if that doesn't work then just verify integrity of cache.

 

the small words were just a tire mod i got that fixed but the pessima will still not spawn i tried removing a mod i thought was causing the issue but that did not work and it wont let me go into safe mode it just sits there but i tried all the other stuff and that wont work

 

never mind i found the mod causing the problem it was a body kit mod for the pessima it works now

 

The reason that it doesn't let you go into safe mode is because it's loading. If you have a lot of mods it's gonna take a while to get into safe mode.
