V8 Sport Premium- A slightly more powerful and chromey Moonhawk, for those of you who like some show with your slow. (400 CUI Engine, Slotted mags, the works.) Moonhawk GT- Bruckells last attempt at a truly fast car, with a very torque 396 big block, lowered suspension, stickier tires, 3.73 positrac rear end and a manual close ratio M-22 four speed transmission, this is one of the last of its kind. Most likely released NOW! https://www.dropbox.com/s/117cc4gpqkfragm/moonhawkmod.zip Also, I'm completely open to requests. WARNING: UNINSTALL MUNCIE TRANS MOD BEFORE INSTALLING THIS, BECAUSE IT IS INCLUDED IN THE MOD
Alright, problem. The GT doesn't like taking corners over 65... Gonna need to edit the tires a bit... XD - - - Updated - - - Alright, problem solved, crisis averted. Updated first post with download. Make sure to report all bugs to me. Thanks.
Can I see some pics so I know if I want it or not? (or is it just standard looks with changed performance?)
Awesome Mod. Much more realistic Torque and HP. Perfect supplement to an amazing car. I found it a bit suspicious that a Supercharged 396 CI V8 only makes 281 HP.... However, I noticed that even though your engines red line at 6800 RPM, they still up-shift at 4700 (in auto-mode anyway).
Hi there. Love the modded engines for the Moonhawk, reminds me of putsing around in my Olds' Omega for some reason. But I got a request for ya. Could you give the Gavril D-15 the Dodge Ram SRT-10 treatment? I don't mean make a whole new Ram model, just turn the D-15 into a SRT model. http://www.conceptcarz.com/view/photo/37575,4847/2003-Dodge-Ram-SRT-10_photo.aspx
The Sport GT mags. - - - Updated - - - Demon, For me, it runs about 400, I believe, you may be looking at HP at the wheels. Also, from what I've researched, most auto trannys of the day shifted much before redline, with fuel economy being more important. And lumberjack, That sounds like a good idea. (I may just make a diesel V10 as well, like fords terrible triton V10s) Well, Its official. Im going to attempt to make a dually.
Stormdrain, I believe I misspoke in my post. I meant the horsepower of the 378 Cubic Inch supercharged motor that came with the Moonhawk. Last I checked it peaked somewhere less than 300 hp (I modified the torque values as soon as I figured out how). As far as the shifting goes, I also believe you are correct with the older transmissions. However the value I am referring to is an RPM number stored in the code for the engine, that tells the game when to shift if you are using a manual transmission (Your M22 for instance) in "automatic" mode. Not a big deal. It was easy to change to my liking.
Ah. I didn't take much care in that, as I rarely drive in auto. And yes, the stock supercharged engine is just embarrassingly underpowered.
