My friend has it, I got play about 3 hours worth. I'm going to be dead honest, I don't really care for it. And I'm a die hard GTA fan... The damage physics and the driving physics turn me off in such a serious way...OK so the world is big'ish, there's new cars and what not....that doesn't really do it for me. It's San Andreas 2.0, and I would rather play San Andreas. I'm probably the only one that thinks that too, haha sorry. I'm going to stick with IV and enjoy my handling file and drift missiles. Saints Row completely left me behind when I drove the cars in their fourth installment, I feel like I'm right back in there with V. That's just my opinion..haha sorry.
The game is so much fun that I don't really care about the driving and crashing physics. I don't know why but I died of laughter when a deer jumped out in front of me and smashed the hood with a big bang.
I litterally spent like 10 minutes on the top of a grassy cliff in a Range Rover Sport thing(something-something Baller) watching the sun set in GTA 5 yesterday... The smog that sat over the mountains in the distance, the reflection of the sun in the water behind it, and the whole sky etc... God it was just so beautiful. I've never seen a game that pulled stuff like this off... JC2 was also one of the only games where I actually stopped to admire views, however, GTA 5 tops those views easily for me, both during daytime and during nighttime, and anywhere in between. I'm even amazed by how good the car taillights look. I think it's the only game that does the red plastic light-clusters so right. Only complaint I have, is no horizontal camera invertion, and the lack of anti-aliasing is killing me... I can't make out cars driving passed at night until I come to a dead stop. Anyone found a Phoenix yet btw? I've been looking for ages, but can't find anything. Did find that Toyota Hilux thing though, forgot its name, and a bulldozer with actual tracks instead of wheels(Yay Rockstar! It only took you like, 12 years!). Pretty sweet
As all GTA's, it starts slow, like drive here missions, etc. But as you progress, trust me, this is a really good game. And the story is really good too, with tons of secondary missions and things to do.
*Buys Garage, 400.00$ lambo, tunes it for another 100k $ puts it back in garage. Game crashes - car is gone aswell as the money. That is like the most shitty bug ever. If my money is gone, why is the car also gone? Also I am kind of disapointed that you can't buy houses. I really don't like micheal ones and Id love to get a good one one vinewood for trevor. But that's just small things, over all it's pretty damn epic. Still need to buy the guide, to get better used to the game.
I have a question, is the blue map in the special&collector's Editon useful to get a lot of cash? And is there really a secret location to find 500k?
Ah man that sucks :c I stole a porsche, tuned it for some money. And when I came back to Franklins house where I parked it, it was gone. I'll check if its at the police station. And according to most people, we'll be able to buy alot of houses in "online". I havn't found it useful. Just a fun thing to put up your wall.
Play further into the storyline. Later you will be able to purchase property(Rockstar confirmed this before, so this isn't a spoiler). Works a bit differently than in old GTAs though.
Thanks, I didn't kow that, and is there a way to sell propertys if you are not that far in the game? - - - Updated - - - Also got a question, it's the second time I bought a car, tuned it, parked in garage of my house as Franklin, saved and it was gone. Is this something routine that you spend all your earned money on a car and when you go 2 miles away it disapers from your garage?
ahahahaa. I already finished the main story but there are still tons of secondary missions like the epsilon program and stuff like that. I love it too
Lmao, i think you deserve a little 'break' any way. +1 for this game making me a hermit since i got it
Now that the game has been released maybe we could talk here about interesting stuff we find in the game, (aliens ehem ehem)
