Hah, you ain't getting rid of me until they also implement the battery system an the rest of your additions. The world is always in need of more features On a serious note, you are probably glad to have one thing less to worry each update. And if this takes on account things like clutch temperature/friction/wear (which would be logical seeing the amount of work they put into all the thermal systems so far) I think we're about to see something that has never been done in a car sim, even the "simmiest" ones. Hell, they are even getting me to be curious about realistic auto transmissions just to see how they work, and I've never driven an automatic in my life.
By that post it looks like it, can't wait. I wonder if they can slip in torque management features in the simulation. (of course for the newer cars, eTk etc.)
The new differentials have turned into something a bit more complex i can finally do a proper build of cars yay
Guys please don't ask for leGran too much because devs are working on it.And now there is big things left : differentials, wecusa, and cars coming soon! So don't be impatient and stay tuned!
Don't forget Italy too! Also can someone with more knowledge than me predict somewhat how much time there is left to finish Italy and WCA? I know we only have a few screenshots but still.
I remember once we were informed that the development of Italy is far behind the progress of WCA. We also don't get much info on WCA as we do on Italy, thus I think WCA should actually come out earlier than Italy
True, I think that WCA is much more developed than Italy. I've also read the members of this forum write the exact same thing but never a dev. Did you mean a dev or forums user when you said that we were informed of it?
we hear more about italy because the devs wanted to do a more open aproach with it so they show us alot from it like the really early stages of development
West Coast will come out long before Italy. As said in the WCU thread, it has "been in progress for a few months already". It has roads, a terrain, vegetation and textures. All it needs are buildings for the city and it's done, as far as I can tell Italy only has vegetation. We don't even know if the terrain is finalized, as hutch is always posting different iterations of it.
cant wait for the update to come out, 0.7.1, the new diff stuff is cool. Am i the only one who thought that 0.7 was a bit underwhelming, they added two campaigns and a small map. and a few trailers, that is not a big update and shouldve been 0.6.2.
They removed a TON of unnecessary old code that did nothing else other than cause bugs. See this: http://www.beamng.com/threads/micro-blog-s-march-2016-latest.23153/page-3#post-441563 138540 lines of code! Another thing was that slow motion actually slows down all sound. Even custom sounds from mods(might be a minor thing but i really like it). I also loved the campaign. We finally got a taste of how the campaign is gonna be like!
addded driveshafts which broke all my (personal) mods lol i guess i'll rebuild it with torque convertors and such anyhow...
yeah the code took a while, they should have done that for 0.6.2 though. The campaigns are a bit lackluster atm (about 10-20mins of game play) and the slow mo sounds arent significant.
