    Hi there,
It's been a long time since I have looked into PC gaming, I am considering a PC for my son at Christmas as he would love to play BeamNG. Unfortunately I am very out of date on graphics cards and specs. Would this PC be able to play the game at a decent rate or would it need to be at very low detail settings?

Thanks for any help or advice you can offer!

750Ti, now starting to age and a low-mid end card when it was new. 1080p displays min to medium settings 30fps. BeamNG also doesnt like AMD CPUs, prefers intel.

It will run, but you will be looking at lower end (not min though) of settings screen than higher end, multiple vehicles may be a struggle as will the T series semi truck.

    I agree with SixSixSevenSeven,

The linked PC uses much older components, and wouldn't run the game very well.
I found this unit on Amazon UK (I'm American) https://www.amazon.co.uk/GAMING-Gra...1_4?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1476661608&sr=1-4

It would run the game SIGNIFICANTLY better for the 85 pound difference. I feel this PC would do you much better, and would be worth the premium.

If you are at all technologically inclined though, custom building the PC could lead to similar performance for less money.

Thanks for your feedback. I might well go down the self build route - I used to build my own gaming PCs back in the day but that day was a long time ago so I'm unsure of which components would be good enough to use without going for the real "budget buster" top of the line items for the motherboard, CPU and graphics. This gives me some good starting points though, thanks.
