Is there anyway to get usable force feedback out of this game? i've tried fiddling with all the ingame settings and even with the best i've gotten the wheel wobbles side to side when the car is still and if you slide it makes no attempt to counter steer like real life.

    has anyone had any luck?

During parking, the lack of power steering simulation means you will feel big forces. The slow update rates of most consumer-level steering wheels means that they may end up wobbling from side to side. If your playing style involves frequent parking maneouvers, I recommend you increase the damping. Here's how: http://wiki.beamng.com/Steering_wheel_setup#BeamnNG.drive:_Force_feedback_configuration

Additionally, FWD and AWD have a known issue with Force Feedback, which means you will get the most realistic experience from RWD cars. We are working on improving this situation, hopefully for one of the next updates.

Is there anyway to decrease vibration effect when crashing etc? My T150 wheel will destroy my desk, and my hands :D
When keeping FFB strenght low (100 or something), vibrations are small but then the FFB effect is low. Also lack of countersteer is driving me crazy and that the wheel feels sluggish... or maybe it´s my wheel that is crap.

Crashing creates huge forces en real life, and also in our simulation. We cannot disable damage or crashing physics, they are an integral part of our physics engine. You can however set a limit to how big the forces arriving at the wheel are. This limit can be configured in the Controls > Force Feedback tab.

really the lack of road feel and zero counter steering on a slide is my biggest issue, i've only tried RWD cars as i wanted to try my hand at drifting since this game would be great for it if the force feedback was a bit more refined. I hope you guys develop it further so its a bit closer to other sims.

We have tested and configured G27 to have a good feeling by default. We can feel self-aligning forces without problems on RWD cars with defautl configurations and official cars.

Can you please describe in detail which vehicle/map/configuration you are using, so we can try to replicate your issue?
