At the moment, all the different V8's for the Barstow look too similar, The bigger engines should look different, have a different filter cover, the different carburetor options should look a little different, And the tuning menu should have an option for the color of the engine enamel. that way you could change the color of the engine block.

I am aware of that and other configuration packs, and I have used them and looked through their content, but they in fact do not have any of the D-series part options listed in this thread as they do not currently exist in-game. The parts suggested here have not yet been put into the game therefore they are not in a configurations pack. Different air filter covers and engine block color selection also is not a feature in Beamng yet. That and other configuration packs simply make new combinations of the existing parts, sometimes with a modded skin thrown in, the parts listed here have not been made as official content. talking about custom parts i think having a roof deflector like this one would be pretty good. its nice and tall and would hopefully make the big rig more easy to roll over this could be added with some extended in height exhaust pipes and to make a nice tall big rig! i think it would look better on the T65 short frame to be honest but it should also be able to work with the sleeper from the heavy duty T75
I was thinking about the off-road D series, and there is no good way to see in front of the vehicle when driving offroad. I think a little mirror sticking off the hood would be useful for off-roading, so you could see the trail in front of you.
At the moment, no it would not, but I have read that the Devs plan to overhaul the reflection system. If that happens, then the mirrors in front would be useful. I perhaps should have clarified that in the original post.
Yeah, an older D series, or a competitor to the D series. --- Post updated --- I just want to say that the new update's D series additions are fantastic. I honestly hope that the Devs continue to give the D series cool extras and additions.
I thought of some more D series part suggestions. The bed rack for the D series has a ladder and some PVC, how about a sheet of plywood or OSB, or a big, heavy piece of steel roofing. Something that may fly off during rapid deceleration if improperly placed(which it is). And perhaps a bed full of rocks, pavers, concrete, pallets of tile, or some other heavy chunk of masonry product. How about an alternate tailgate? Fiberglass body kits with weird paint jobs: A total rust bucket beater: How about a paint job skin that looks like the classic shark paint on WWII fighter planes?
