I agree. The car is basically a shorter wheelbase of an old Chevy pickup, and has a facelift of a 2016 Ford F-150.

The Camry and Accord V6 are usually underrated performance wise and sleepers. Altima: V6+Cvt= Yuck!
    Why?

Get 0-60 times of 5-6 seconds and crush v6 powered camaros and (older mustangs) and weigh nearly the same.

1/4 mile times around the 14-15 sec range at speeds near 100mph.

Most importantly, you can pay thousands less for performance (Camry and Accord V6)

I have to agree. I have a 2000 Lexus ES300 with the V6 and it looks like it'd be sooooo boring but when people get in, and I hit it to make the light, they are typically surprised that they got thrown back in their seat. My 1998 Regal LS was like that with the N/A 3800 V6, and it seemed like a grandma car (the suspension feel definitely proved that myth true), but when I had to floor it, it went. I wrecked my Buick and I loved that car so much, but I got a Lexus now so I'm happy with that too. Both, I'd say, are underrated. It's not on sale yet but I agree with you and It is kind of annoying.

Watch Toyota slap a CVT 1.8 with this car and possibly a hybrid.

Au contraire, mon ami. Volvos have become subject to the "memetic sleeper effect", that is, they've become known well enough for drifting, trolling, and just plain tuning in general that, if someone tries to race me in a Volvo, I'm not going to think "haha he wants to race in a brick, this won't take long", I'm going to think "how much horsepower does that thing really have? 400? 500? More than that?"

I don't think he meant that in the sense that he likes them as sleepers... I think he means he likes them as normal day to day cars.

Yes, a lot of people think they are bricks, yet, those engines are good for 2000000+ Kilometres (I should know, as mine has around that)

I've seen a rusty 252 beat a Skyline, truly insane, the engine was something you would see in a true drag car

Yeah, I meant as a day to day car

Indeed; the current title of the highest-mileage noncommercial car is held by a 60's Volvo, at three million miles.

It's owned by some guy in Alaska right? It's just amazing how great the engines are, and the cars are essentially tanks! It must be something with Swedish cars being strong, like SAAB
