SMOKES,STEAM,ETC!! (CLOSED)

Ok so I have re - installed the steam and documents BeamNG.Drive folders, but I still cannot get the smoke textures. After crashing,or damaging my radiator, etc, no smoke will show up. Only a bit of black exhaust smoke. THEN, the covet beater works.(Actually, I'm not sure anymore.) WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

What settings are you running the game on? Fairly sure the settings have to be on a mediumish setting for it to actually show the smoke and steam particles becuase with most low end laptops and computers the frame rate would make it unplayable if it was enabled on lowest settings.

it could just be that your not doing anything to cause anything but black smoke to come out, have you tried breaking your radiator and driving for a bit? do massive ammounts of smoke pour out of the T-series?

 

hell nah just a little bit of pussy smoke from the exhaust, some cars like sunburst none.

I do crash them and damage the radiator.

I'm just really mad about it so yeah

 

Run from safe mode to make sure you have no mods installed.

 

well, new cars like the sunburst are made to have less polluting and in turn have less visible smoke. if overheating (making your car heat up so much it wont move) your car makes no blue smoke come out of the car, something is wrong, and i cant really help with that.

 

it's not like its just the sunburst, the covet beater works and all, no oil, etc will create b;ue smoke, but no radiator damage, etc.

 

well, damaging the radiator should just cause a small bit of white steam to come from the engine, then lead to overheating (engine being starved of oil, connecting rods breaking ect.) the car when its just running/accelerating should cause very little smoke to come out of the exhaust pipe (just like real life).

 

my thermals are not working whatsoever. wtf?
