How to Install Engine Sounds?

I'm having trouble installing engine sounds. I had them before and some other mods installed but those were not letting me hook up the semi truck trailer to the semi truck. I verified the game and that fixed my issue with the couplers. I've installed some mods and couplers still work so I'm moving on to the engine sounds. Does anybody know how to install Engine Sounds manually. I've tried and nothing has worked.

You cannot install another sound mod for lets say the t-series if you already have a sound pack that gives a new sound for the t-series.

 

I currently don't have any sounds mods installed. Plus the mods thing doesn't work. I have to install everything manually. I have two variety packs and 5 cars from this website (No Russian Mods) installed. I will try some things and see if I can get the sounds mods to work. I had a sound mod installed and when I verified the game to get my couplers I lost the sound mod.

 

The link I provided also shows how to manually install mods. Also every mod should be put as a zip into documents/beamng.drive/mods.
May I ask what sound mod you are trying to install?

 

I actually don't have a set sound mod. But my other mods work without them being in the documents folder.So I don't know what is going on with my game.

 

Putting them into the mods folder is the right place to put them. If you put them with your game files in the steam folder then steam might delete the mods or you might overwrite something that shouldn't be overwritten.
