Wired xbox 360 controller wont work at all.

I bought a wired gamestop xbox 360 controller for this game and it wont work at all. I plug it in, all the drivers are installed correctly, and it dosent work. Does anyone have any ideas as to why it would be doing this?

 

i have that exact controller so these input maps might work. im going to post again to paste the third one. it wont allow me to upload 3 attachments

Instructions
goto beamng/scripts/client/inputmaps and create a new folder callled custom

then paste the keyboard.inputmap.cs into it and the 04010e6f.inputmap.cs into the new folder you made.

then go back to beamng/scripts/client/inputmaps and paste all of the files there too.
