I have a Fanatec GT2 steering wheel and I can't get my force feedback settings to a good standard (mostly because I have no idea how to make it good lol) so if anyone has any good settings that work for them please post them! Thanks :D

I'm having the same issues with my Fanatec GT3v2 wheel (with 756 firmware and 205 64bit drivers).
FFB works, just doesn't give me any discernible feedback on what the car is doing. Also missing is any sort of spring back to re-centre the wheel.
Just wondering if anyone has this wheel working well?

    Cheers.

I recommend you start with default FFB values, and gradually increase the force coefficient 50 units at a time. You may end up in the 400-1000 range, depending on the vehicle you are driving, and your personal preference. Unfortunately I don't have your steering wheel model at hand, so I cannot check what values may be good.

The other FFB parameters can influence smoothnes and latency of the forces, I suggest you do not touch them until you've already reached a good enough basic feeling (to further tune the forces, remove ressonances, or force spikes, etc).

As for the wheel centering, that is mostly up to the mechanical vehicle design, specifically its suspension geometry and wheels characteristics. BeamNG will center the wheel if it would happen in real life, you also get self-aligning torques when sliding the car, etc. If you want to add an artificial centering forces, you can probably do so with the steering wheel drivers themselves (in Windows Control Panel).

Thanks very much for the reply.
I've had a play around with the force coefficient values, and found something that works. I'm still playing around with it, but it's set to 600 at the moment.
Crucially, I ticked the 'Invert Force' option which fixed the wheel centring issue completely. This made the biggest difference to feel of things, and made the experience so much more realistic.

    Thanks again.

    Have a read through this.

    Most importantly this line:
"Cannot get steering to work. Car only veers to one side
Make sure you have not added any bindings to "steer left" or to "steer right". If you have manually added any, remove them. Add one binding for "steering" instead."

What is your steering wheel? Please send a support request so I can check your configuration.

Why steering didn't come back to center? Try everything didn't work. By example, when I do a drift the steering sould turn in my hand but nothing happen
