I do agree, although people do need to learn to stop throwing the word 'faggot' around. It's very offensive. (Not that I'm homosexual myself) My uncle is gay and he is reluctant to tell anyone because he got very, very bullied in school to the point where he moved 3 times. It's a terrible thing. That was the 80s.

While I don't practice the Jewish religion, I hate to see the treatment they get. I don't like seeing people any religion be insulted, attacked, etc because of it. Well, except for Satanism, where they worship the devil. I'd love to see laws against homophobia, and also racism. This is 2016, going on 2017, people should be accepting others for who they are. True story about myself: I actually used to be homophobic, but then the people around me, including my mom and some of my teachers, helped me see the light, and now I support LGBT rights. They're human beings too. Also, I don't think I had any teacher at my high school who used faggot as a part of their vocabulary.
although i do agree that racisim and homophobia are very wrong, and that everyone should be treated equally. i feel like laws aginst homophobia/racisim is a bit extreme and kinda goes aginst freedom of speech...
What's wrong with Satanism? Satan seems like a pretty cool and accepting guy One of the teachers at my school called a student a dick head because the student was inflating a condom on his head. In terms of the LGBT stuff, I feel like laws against homophobia is too far, I certainly don't agree with it however making laws against it will make people feel more segregated and extreme in their opinions. Far better that they be out in the sunlight where they can coexist with other people and hopefully over time realise that LGBT people aren't all that bad (or any different from anyone else). Additionally they are entitled to their own opinions and in some cases I feel it is unfair to force LGBT opinions upon them if they do not wish to accept them, for example wedding cake companies that refuse to sell cakes to LGBT people etc. I think that is a really naff thing to do, but equally the decision is ultimately theirs and if they are not comfortable doing it then that is up to them. Although they certainly won't be getting my business (and not just because they would refuse to serve me). While the use the word gay as an insult does generally lower my opinion of someone, I don't find it insulting. Its more that it's a fairly worthless insult. Its about as meaningless as it gets and is fairly lazy. Of course if someone was using someone's sexuality as an insult in order to cause offense them that is another matter.
