    Hey guys,

Sorry for the delay getting back to you but I have been busy with studies

So what I have heard these are the things you generally want:
    1. Detailed in the map along with custom assets to make the map stand out.
    2. An nice off-roading section including mudding and rock crawling.
    3. Nice smooth roads to drive on
    4. Great views and natural view
    5. Decent FPS
I have looked into how I could incorporate all of these features into a map and I think I have something planned

Keep an look out for an build log soon because I will be posting every step so you guys can input your ideas at every step of the way.

    Thank you for the help

    -Jonny over and out

I really really really love a great big detailed map just to explore stuff. Both on and offroad. And a lot of roads. Also fps friendly. i have a crap laptop

Less trees and vegetation and more jumps and hill climbs. I'm sure not everyone can run this game very well, and a lot of the good maps have too low of an fps to actually enjoy fully. At least in my opinion, but I one thing i think at least most of the maps should be attempted to have a good fps and I know a lot of this is on the devs side as well. I do tweak maps myself, but I don't share them or anything. I just see something and change it. Just wish they'd add some more tools in the level editor. I see people have uploaded their version of gridmap, I did not know we could use the devs maps as starters and actually upload them. I was under the impression you had to start from scratch. Idk.

haha, sounds awesome. and its not a question of how big is too big, its a question of "how big can you make this infinite frozen ocean without the game starting your computer on fire"

I like to drive on big or long maps, usually with a long straight road. (Like Desert Highway)
I do enjoy some city maps but I understand that those things can be tiresome to make.

Normally what I do is get a slowish car and cruise around 50-65 MPH while listening to some music at night (its like driving... but virtually!)

I look for long stretches of roads and lots of short curving roads in a map, and really smooth, not bumpy roads.

What I look for is a moderate sized town with some backroads and a highway too.

I look for detail. Detail and quality. This is why I have every map from Ouerbacker and DoulPepper- they are so good at including custom, detailed objects, and everything is high quality. I also like to have roads that are good for high speeds- take Mammoth Valley, for example.

For me, I like a city or a neighborhood that is FPS friendly, as I do not have the best computer.
