I have this concept idea of recreating real life world locations. But I don't mean big locations.. For example the outskirts of Firenze or Slovenian - Croatian Istria or a small part of France filled with mountain passes and small villages.
If you drive at the edge of a location it switches to a menu where you can select where to travel or if you deny to travel..it spawns you back at the edge of the location..at the edge of the road.

Do you guys think this is a great design concept idea?

I think its an interesting concept, although it would require a lot of effort to model various differnet locations. This is one of those things that is simply too far out. However, it would be nice. (just to qualify... do you mean something like the location menu in eauro truck simulator?) because in that case, im on board completely

Yes.. or perhaps just choosing your scenario where you can drive and search at various times of the day for various sprint, circuit races around.
Example.. I feel like racing in the Slovenian part of Istria..I click there.. I spawn and I go search races or opponents to duel on a 1on1.
A location could have around 200 square miles..
For example LiDAR data could be transformed into mesh and then decimated a bit and got load in the BeamNG terrain editor.. After that you start placing objects and draw the road by helping yourself with a satellite image.
