Why is my config menu so laggy?

I know this sounds like a really random enquirey, but one of the many reasons I bought the game was to be able to customize cars. But, my config menu is so laggy I can't get anyware with this. Anyone know what the problem is, or is it just that my computer's not up to it?

 

Do people with faster Computers have this problem? My laptop is fastish(2.75GHZ) and it responds fairly slowly in the menus that pop up when you press CTRL+W.

 

I had this issue with the damage and navigation apps open, they slow down the HTML subsystem so badly

 

i usually only have the tacho2 app and the turbo psi gauge app on and it still lags a bit.

 

The same happens with me, I reccomend waiting for the menu to come up, then pause the game, you will probably get 60fps and easy customization, that's what I do.

 

I have an i7-4970 or 4790 I forgot which one at 3.6ghz, and lag quite a bit.

 

This happened to me just, I reset all the apps and it was fine after. Weird because I already had a lot of apps open when playing previously and hadn't added any new ones. Seems to have fixed it.
