I was actually just about to send you a private message. As I said, I don't claim to have a solution or to know what to do; I can only give an opinion. My opinion happens to be pretty much exactly what @Funky7Monkey just said. I agree that the forum should not fall to the level of 12 year-olds, but responding to them on their level is only setting a bad example. Getting angry is just food for more drama and is not how this is going to be solved. If you don't like people criticizing the mods for being unprofessional, the first step should be to act professionally. Sticks and stones and all. I respect what you all do, love your game, and know how much stress you are all under, but please know that this is only going to make it worse. In short, lead by example. As for my post quoted at the very top, I can't say anything other than that I regret it, that it was very immature, and that it goes against everything I just said. It's the sort of thing that needs to be cracked down on and, in my opinion, is the sort of post I should receive a warning point for. I also apologise for bringing this into the General Discussion forum.
I understand that as a community things can get a little out of hand, probably more so than they should and I can understand why that would be incredibly frustrating. However I am not sure that responses like this are really helping with community relations. Its past midnight in Germany, I can understand that you have a lot of work to do and none of what has happened here has helped with that. If I may be so bold as to make a recommendation working these sorts of hours may not be the greatest of ideas. However I do thank you for the sacrifices you make in that respect. But don't work yourself too hard.
We got so many issues left to fix, the whiteboard is full of red bugs, the changelog needs to be written still (That takes easily 4+ hours alone), we simply have to work a lot right now to finish everything in time still. Nadeox1 is the most talented guy i have ever met in regards to customer support, he answers ~50 emails a day, replies to steam discussions and reviews, etc. All the time getting bashed from all sides, being called an incompetent child, etc. Getting a good working guy from your team bullied or being mistreated like this really freaks me out, i care about the team.

Jokes always turn bigger on the internet. I find that rather quite annoying, especially if people start worrying that the forums will completely stagnate, as if the community just dies. As far as I have seen, it's mostly newer members. Now don't get me wrong, there's some amazing people who have joined recently (by which I mean maybe 9 months ago) but there's a few issues here.
This is sort of funny, but it's also painful to watch. Everyone please just stop. Everyone stop responding to tdev's posts (well, not so much now that the conversation has shifted, but I'm pretty sure he's fricking busy right now). Everyone stop talking about ducks. Everyone please just forget any of this ever happened and go on about your business. Just move along.
