In the top right corner of your screen you can see this small rectangular thing that says "Search..."

    TL;DR
Not going to happen at least with the current generation of consoles, they simply lack the processing power needed for the thousands of calculations BeamNG physics need.

But yes I do have to agree, that would be amazing. Just not possible with the old and cheap hardware in these "next-gen" consoles.

It is true. The consoles are just not up to snuff. They can make things look pretty, but that's about it really. The most physics intensive games out there that do run on the consoles are all the racing simulators... and as we know, they have nothing on Beams physics engine in terms of computational power required. And with saying that, even those games can barely muster 30FPS most of the time (I'm looking at you Forza and Assetto) and I am not making that up... I am going off of personal experience. So if the consoles can barely hold a candle to them, imagine a console with Beam... it would just turn into a molten blob on the floor.

Actually, Forza Motorsport all at 60fps.
    Forza Horizon runs at 30fps.

That may be advertised as true, but I can tell you that my Xbox has one hell of a hard time holding any kind a stable FPS... it's all over the place... and it's not just me being picky either... sometimes the frames drop to almost unplayable levels at what seems like complete random. It really drives me nuts.

Huh. On mine (bog standard 500gb model) I always get consistent frame-rates in Microsoft's games, I have never seen a single frame-drop on Forza 5 or Forza 6. Even my GTA V (which apparently has performance issues at the moment) usually holds 30fps.

Yea, I have heard that... even when I am playing with friends they tell me the same thing. Their consoles never miss a beat while every now and then mine just has a fit and drops frames like it's nobody's business. However, that being said, Forza and Assetto are the only 2 games that I have had that problem in. I haven't had it in any other game.

Unless the Xbox Scorpio is packing 2 Of the original CPU's overclocked to roughly 3 or 4 times the clock speed that they are currently at... and 4 of the current GPU's... or in other words, a $1,000 console... It just isn't going to happen.

I think you might just have a lemon. My Xbox One, while either noisy or overheating (depends on how it feels that day) runs games solidly. I know I've had an Xbox 360 and an older model PS3 that couldn't play games well (both of them eventually died of RROD/YLOD and were replaced)

AMD ≠ Bad. Just bulldozer has a design that is not ideal for gaming.

Not gaming as much as just single threaded work loads, which gaming happens to be for the most part. Consoles won't run beamng, the CPUs are nothing like as powerful as the desktop ones and they already aren't very high end. If it was as good as the desktop CPU it would have no problem, graphics are also an issue but a much smaller one.

if my console can run games that my computer can't at minimum settings (i can run Tomb Raider 2013 at high settings), the consoles could run Beamng. i am getting sick and tired of this ideal that PC players have where they think that consoles are so horrible that they can't run Pong

AMD = Bad for running BeamNG because the game relies a lot on per-core performance and a metric ton of floating point calculations, neither of which AMD CPUs are good at

Yes but your computer is doing alot more than "just playing a game" not to mention specs are what matter, its not just any computer.. You also have to realise that alot of games like Tomb Raider use very little CPU, where BeamNG uses huge amount of CPU power. Thats where consoles really fall short.

They can run pong but cant run BeamNG. its simple hardware.

    Can I punch him lol
    Just kidding.
Me I'm sick an tired of this ideal that shitty 300€ consols are as good as 800€ pc. And that people think that because they can play a super optimized version of GTA v any games can be play on them. When those console get out they are already outdated of 3 years in comparison to the newer stuff on pc.
